As a 2nd year B.Tech student of SRMIST NCR campus, I have experienced plenty of things around this college. This university is overall very good and comes among the top universities in India. The Modinagar campus is also a good institute to pursue your degree from because the overall infrastructure and planning of the campus is good. If one fails to get the main campus, then they should definitely opt for the second best option which is SRM NCR campus.

SRM NCR is very serious about their academics. They deliver the best courses per semester that the students could easily complete and learn basic etiquettes that an engineer should have along with the engineering course according to the degree. The procedure of enrolling yourself for this program is very easy as you have to give SRMJEE which is conducted by the university; securing a good rank under 10000 can get you here with a good course and degree. The minimum criterion is that you should have overall more than 60%, and you should have more than 55% marks in your main three subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. This is the best option you would get for this eligibility criterion and definitely won't regret getting into this college.

The faculty here is the best faculty you could get in any private college. The Director of the college is very focused regarding the faculty and has offered the best faculty. I love the faculty as they are so knowledgeable and helpful that they will never let you down. The style of teaching they offer is mind blowing; if you are in their class you will understand everything that they teach and if you face any difficulty, they are always there for your help. They provide you good marks if you are good enough and they help in every possible way. All the professors are highly qualified and cultured.

The placement overall is good. I have seen our seniors getting jobs though the average package is not that high but it gives proper economical offers around 7 to 8 lakh per annum.

Yes, you get residential facilities in this institute and you get proper and affordable options for living. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls; all AC and non AC options are available. Hostels have the capacity of approximately 1500 students.

The infrastructure of SRM NCR campus is overall good and you would enjoy your time here. The campus's academic block is so big that it has big central library, all the classes and labs, and also a newly opened Vendhar Knowledge Center. Other labs like mechanical lab, electrical lab, and automobile lab are just beside the academic block. The campus has three canteens; students can enjoy whatever food they want to eat in those three canteens. "Cafe The Latte" is a cafe inside the academic block. The main ground of college is so big that all the sports activities happen in the main ground and the other ground is used for other cultural activities and fests.

The campus life here is just what you are looking for. The students studying and living in the campus enjoy all the perks of the college. The crowd here is basically of all local students and the students from places nearby whereas the students living in hostel are from different cities and states therefore, there is a diverse crowd in the campus. There are many clubs in this campus, you will definitely find out your favorite club here and there is active participation of the clubs in different fests and activities. SRM NCR conducts two mega fests in a year, one is the tech fest "innovate" and the other one is the cultural fest that is "rubaroo". All the students are engaged in these fests and activities. The management skills of the students are also developed because all the fests are conducted by the students with the help of teachers. Campus life will be so happening that your four years will pass by so easily.
