Candid Student Experiences in SRM University Delhi NCR

Overall Rating
SRM University Delhi NCR provides many facilities for the students to study in a good campus. I chose it over others, as this has 12th NIRF rank overall India. This University has a very good tactics for the students to enhance their skills.
 

Academics Rating
I am doing Computer Science Engineering in Cloud Computing because I was very interested in it. The entry is based on the entrance exam of University SRMJEE. The admission process is very simple. Frequency of exams is quite good; here internal tests are conducted every month.
The fee of my course is Rs. 2,21,000 for 1st year and Rs. 2,00,000 for the rest of the years. The admission fee is Rs. 1500, registration fee is Rs. 10,000, and campus fee is Rs. 11,000. Scholarships are provided on the basis of the students’ score in SRMJEE. The top 1000 students get the scholarship.
 

Faculty Rating
The number of faculty members is very wide and they have a well educated background. They teach with the help of blackboards and PPTs. They make concepts very easy to understand. Faculty members are very cooperative with the students and help them in clearing doubts. The bonding of teachers and students is also good, as they are always available to help the students. The student-teacher ratio is 5:1.
 

Placement Rating
There is an active placement cell in SRM University Delhi NCR, which provides daily information to the students about the placements and companies. They conduct regular placement related activities like resume making workshops, mock interviews, etc. This helps students to enhance themselves with the skills required for placements.
 

Hostel Rating
The University offers the facility of hostels to live and nearby many PGs are also available. Total number of rooms in hostels is over 1000. The hostel fee for non AC two seater rooms is Rs. 1,46,500 including the gym and laundry fee. Fee for AC two seater rooms is Rs. 2,00,500. Hostel rules and regulations are very strict.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is established in 30 acres of land. The campus has library, academic blocks, gymnasium, cafeterias, canteens, sports grounds, auditoriums, seminar halls, etc. The library has variety of books of different genres. There are a total of 3 canteens in the campus. There is a special medical team in the University. There are many security guards stationed in the University campus for the security of students.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life experience is quite good so far. The University crowd is also good, supportive, and always helpful. There are regular events held in the University with active student participation, which makes the campus lively. The engagement activities in the University are for the personality development of the students. The fests and events are held almost in every 3 months.
