IHM Chandigarh in a Nutshell

Overall Rating
Talking about AIHM Chandigarh, it's a great institution for pursuing Hotel Management. Faculties, teaching curriculum, clubs, activities, campus life, etc. everything is excellent. This college has a great reputation in the industry and top companies are coming for the placements here, like Taj, Oberoi, ITC, Hyatt, Marriott, etc.
 

Academics Rating
To enroll in this course or to get admission in AIHM Chandigarh, you have give an entrance test of NCHMCT JEE conducted by NTA every year. The test is easy to moderate, it consists of verbal, logical, quantitative, and aptitude sections. The eligibility to apply for this exam is minimum 60% in 12th.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are really great. Every faculty member has great industry experience which helps students to get practical knowledge. Every faculty is well qualified. They are very approachable by the students and they are very supportive in terms of academics, extracurricular, placements, career counseling, etc. You'll find great environment here.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are also very good here; almost every student gets placements apart from those who opted out from the process. Almost every 5 star hotel brand, QSR , retailers, etc. come for the placements like, Taj, Oberoi, Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, and QSR like McDonald's, Haldirams, Bikanerwala, and retailers like Aditya Birla group. The average and highest packages range from 3 LPA to 4 LPA, respectively.
 

Infrastructure Rating
It's a government college, so the infrastructure is not like the private colleges (not a big campus). But yes, it's a decent one. There is every facility in the campus like library, smart classes, auditorium, practical kitchen and bakery, restaurant, labs, etc. Hostel facility is also there with separate buildings for boys and girls.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is really great. Almost every month there are events happening in the campus. There are various clubs and societies as well where students can participate for their overall development. Also, there are a lot of extracurricular activities including sports, cultural events, competitions, etc. So overall, the campus life is great.

    As I first came into this Institute I was not so happy about it as it wasn't even in my mind to do bachelors from here because I had already completed my diploma and wanted to go abroad for further studies. Due to change in plans I had to choose a college in Chandigarh and then I got into this Institute.
