KMC Mangalore Review

Overall Rating
The experience at the college is nice and good so far. The fee for the course was good and it was the best option I could have gone for according to my rank. It is the best college you can go for if you rank at 50 to 60k and has good clinical exposure as compared to other private colleges.
 

Academics Rating
The course which I have opted for is MBBS, entry requirement for the course is securing a rank of around 50k in NEET, eligibility for the course is NEET and motive for enrolling in the course is becoming a doctor. The course deals with learning information about the human body and how to treat it.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty and the teaching staff of each department are excellent and really help students in acquiring information and doing well in academics. Faculty members are people who have done their MBBS and have opted for teaching, teaching style is really practical and helpful. By far it is the best set of teachers who really teach you and encourage you.
 

Placement Rating
You get stipend of around 35k after completing your 4.5 years and after that you can go for any hospital that suits you.
 

Hostel Rating
You are provided with hostels with both AC and non AC rooms. You have a constant supply of everything including water and electricity.
 

Infrastructure Rating
For first years, the campus has two hostel blocks one for the boys and one for the girls, each block contains boys and girls of both MBBS and BDS, the hostel has two buildings and a basket ball court. The campus is not too large but is sufficient for accommodating the people living in it.
 

Campus Rating
You don’t get much of a campus life here because the campus is pretty small and the curfew timings for girls is 8:30 pm but it gets better in second year as the curfew extends for girls. For clubbing and partying you’ll have to go to Manipal because Mangalore doesn’t have many clubs.

    Life at Kasturba Medical College is awesome. Teachers are very cooperative. I got admission through NEET. Study curriculum at Kasturba medical. College is really very good as faculty and other staff is very cooperative. Sports and other activities are also promoted at KMC campus; we have world class sports complex name Marena greens....
