BPT from Srinivas University

Overall Rating
I have enrolled into Srinivas College of Physiotherapy under Srinivas University which is situated in Mangalore junction, Pandeswaram. The reason for joining was a recommendation from my friend. The overall experience at Srinivas University has been pleasant. Infrastructure is kind of old but the university’s management is working on it. The faculties and teaching method are very efficient and qualitative. The fee is affordable and worth it for the respective course.
 

Academics Rating
I have enrolled in Bachelor of Physiotherapy because I'm passionate about physiotherapy and my father is already a paramedical professional and he has inspired me to become one as well. BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) requires students to possess at least 60% marks in 12th. Students can enroll in the university by applying directly to the Srinivas University management. Agents are also available for this process but they might take advantage of you. You can visit the campus directly and apply there.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties at Srinivas University are well qualified in their profession with masters’ degrees in respective subjects. They are very hard working and are responsible and proven to be of good quality. They approach a proactive method to engage students in activities which promotes academic growth and thorough analysis is conducted to ensure the progress of students.
 

Placement Rating
Placement Cell does exist in Srinivas University but it is very inactive and has failed to guide students towards internships and placement.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is one the most criticised aspects of Srinivas University (specifically college of Physiotherapy). The hostel infrastructure as well as food service is very bad and I do not recommend it. It is advisable to take a room outside.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of Srinivas University is average. It has all the necessary facilities at the minimum requirement criteria. Physiotherapy Clinic is present in the campus for training students and internship. The clinic doesn't have air conditioning which is troublesome for students in adverse heat. Treatment is free for patients and a huge amount of patients are treated on a day to day basis. Canteen is available with basic facilities and food menu. Flexible parking area is also available. Campus is situated in Mangalore city and transportation facilities are easily accessible.
 

Campus Rating
In Pandeswaram campus, there is a multitude of courses such as BBA, MBA, BCA, Hotel management, BPT, etc. So events and fests are conducted very actively in the campus but are divided on the basis of departments. Regardless, programs are conducted very often by students’ management. Onam, Garbha, food fest, arts and culture fest, and college ethnic day are conducted on yearly basis. Students are athletically active because sport events are conducted very frequently by students and management. Blood donation camps and other such social responsibility events are also conducted.

    I wanted to be in IT industry because BCA was best course and I think of being placed in the IT industry. While researching I found Srinivas as no. 1 BCA college in Mangalore so I opted for Srinivas to pursue my BCA degree.     Srinivas University is located in Karnataka. There are 10 colleges under it, and these include like the social sciences college and physiotherapy college. The management college is associated with Mangalore University, and it has a NAAC grade A. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
