Experience at HIMT

Overall Rating
HIMT college has a good infrastructure and also, it is IMU affiliated. The faculties here in college are very cooperative and well trained. The college has lots of entertainment factors which will help us in staying entertained throughout the course period. The college has a good placement record.
 

Academics Rating
The course is of duration of 3 years. For admission, first you have to pass your 12th board examination and you must have PCM aggregate 60% or more and English 65% more, and you have to pass the IMU CET entrance exam which is an all India entrance exam.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties here in college are very well trained and very cooperative which helps us to study and acquire knowledge. Most of the faculties are captains and engineers who are sailing currently so they have the experience and latest knowledge about all the marine equipments onboard. The teaching style is that they teach both practically and theoretically.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the college has a good placement record. It helps the students to acquire jobs within their course period.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college has residential facilities inside the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
All the classrooms and academic floors are fully air conditioned. There are various labs like engineering workshop, ship in campus, and basic skills workshop. VR facilities are there in campus along with swimming pool and seamanship lab. These labs give us the basic knowledge about the job and what we have to do onboard.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is very lively. The college has different types of committees which will help you be busy all the time so that you will not get bored in the campus. You can play different outdoor games in the campus. Gymnasium is also there.

    The best institute to build your career and to develop your skills to the top, for that Hindustan Institute of Maritime Training is the best option. I will refer students to do B.Sc Nautical Science degree course for building their carrier.
