Overall Rating
I am second year student and in these 2 years I have really enjoyed my college life. One of the reasons due to which I have chosen this college was its placements. The faculty’s quality and experience is also best I can say this with my 2 years of experience in this college.
 

Academics Rating
The eligibility criteria for the course are that you have to pass the 12th board exam with PCM with an average percentage of 60 percentage and English 65 percentage. And then you have to clear the IMUCET exam and you have to get rank and you have to be in that cutoff.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of them are captains and engineer and having real life experience in this field which will give you an extra boost as they will updates you about new trends in the industry.
 

Placement Rating
The placement record is actually good every batch is having a placement record of 75 percentage and the company taking cadets are top notch companies in shipping industry.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is also good. In every room 4 guys are there. The food in mess is also good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus infrastructure is good. Academic block and every classroom is air conditioned and all are smart class rooms. There is a ship in campus in college which is an actual resemblance of ship which will help us to learn more about ships. There are other various labs like marine engineer workshop, seamanship lab etc.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is very live. College is very engaging you will be always be engaged in some work or duties so there will be no boredom. For entertainment there is football, basketball, volleyball, cricket, table’s tennis, carom, chess, badminton, gymnasium, swimming pool etc. There are various committees in college like safety, galley, laundry, media, sports, event etc.

    HIMT college has a good infrastructure and also, it is IMU affiliated. The faculties here in college are very cooperative and well trained.
