Honest review of all factors of Chittaranjan College, Kolkata

Overall Rating
This is a Govt. Sponsored college, located in college square Kolkata, this college is affiliated by University of Calcutta (i.e. one of the oldest Universities in India). This college offer BA and B.Com degree only. My experience with this college is too limited, because the college campus is too small, but I got a piece of information that, the college is shifting their campus to college street area. This college has very less students, like in Bengali department there is 1 student and in B.Com department it has around 200 students.
 

Academics Rating
The cutoff of this college is very low, because it is an unknown college it is not so popular like other colleges of Kolkata, the professors assist you all time and they will help you to get more marks in your exams. If you want to consider this college, please take a look at this college on Google and if you are an applicant of B.Com then you can consider it.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are highly qualified. Most of them have completed their Ph.D, and their teaching skills are good. But the faculty and student ratio is very low, in the whole commerce department there only 4 to 5 faculties, the faculties are very supportive. They assist you all time, and they will solve your problem rapidly.
 

Placement Rating
This college does not give any placement or internship. Students need to find job themselves.
 

Hostel Rating
This college doesn’t have any hostel, but around the college there are many PGs and Mess.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The College is too small. The class rooms are also too small. In the whole campus there's no AC. There is a common room but they don't open it. The library is also not good enough. And there is only one smart class room.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is so bad, if any student thinks that there will be very beautiful campus like other colleges then don’t choose this college. This college don't organise any fest they only organise freshers, Holi, Saraswati puja, and Iftar party which is organised by the student union. There is no club, no social crowd or anything like this.
