Overall Rating
The Victoria Institution (College) is a great college because of its convenient location. The campus is excellent and the staff is very helpful. All the required amenities to ensure holistic development of the students are available at the college.
 

Academics Rating
High quality education is provided at the college with regular classes and lectures.
 

Faculty Rating
All my teachers were are helpful and collaborative. They are always ready to solve any study related or campus problems. They give their best effort to guide every student. They also make notes to help us in our studies and explain each concept in a detailed manner. Students don't need any outside guidance if they attend the classes regularly. They cleared all my doubt by taking online and offline classes like private tutors. The non-academic staffs like the office staff, security guards, and canteen employees at the college are also very polite.
 

Placement Rating
The Victoria Institution (College) offers placement services to students. A large number of students get placed at reputed companies across different sectors.
 

Hostel Rating
Students are provided accommodation facilities at the college. Our hostel building has 3 floors which are cleaned regularly to maintain a hygienic environment. It has sufficient beds, 24/7 drinking water facility, and proper wash rooms with wash basins. Students are provided a homely environment at the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Victoria Institution (College) campus has 3 buildings which are surrounded by greenery. This creates peaceful environment for students. Students are offered a wide array of academic and non-academic facilities which includes spacious classrooms, office rooms, seminar hall, laboratories, auditorium, museum, common rooms, play ground, and library. The library has more than 40,000 books.
 

Campus Rating
Students can participate in a number of co-curricular activities at the college like karate, NCC, NSS, language communication etc with proper guidance. It also has many clubs like Heritage Club, Natures Club, Electrical Literacy Club, Photography Club, Consumer Club, Astronomy Club, etc. The college celebrates various events to keep students engaged such as 'Basanta Hey' and 'Rangiye Diye Jao' which occur every Holi. Sports event with various competitions is organised in the winter by senior students. A fresher welcome and farewell occasion is also conducted at the college every year.

    Being a current student of this college, I am aware of its every aspect. This college is under Calcutta University and is accredited as B+ grade by NAAC. On the first day when I entered this college, the seniors and other staffs were being seen in front of the gate for taking the freshers to the auditorium.     Coming from Kendriya Vidyalaya School, I found the atmosphere and in general vibe of Victoria Institution (College) a bit dull and depression that lacks a competitive spirit. I had to take admission in this college due to my low score in Maths which brought down the total score. Due to my high score in English I was selected in the first list itself and got impressed by the English Department and the faculty, the only thing I appreciated about the college.
