A Great Experience at CDLU

Overall Rating
I chose this University because I heard that the M.Sc department and their laboratories are really good. And the overall atmosphere is quite good. The students come from all over Haryana and Punjab. Also every course is good and their fee structure is quite reasonable. Also for some reserved category students, University provides scholarships.
 

Academics Rating
I enrolled in M.Sc Chemistry in Chaudhary Devi Lal University. The eligibility is on the entrance basis. You have to appear for CUET exam for admission. The University got NAAC grade B. 75% attendance rule is there that you have to complete and life at CDLU is really peaceful as the campus is really nice.
 

Faculty Rating
The Faculty is really good. Most of them are Ph.D holders in their respective fields. The professors are very knowledgeable and helpful. They also complete the whole syllabus on time. I would say that faculty is really wonderful and have years of experience in teaching and helps each and every student in lab work.
 

Placement Rating
This is a negative point of this University. There are only 50% chances that you will get placed in a good company. Most of the companies come for recruiting the students from the IT field or sales. The packages are around 3 - 4 lakh per annum.
 

Hostel Rating
The Hostels are well furnished. A student would get all facilities like cooler and washing machine. There are separate hostels for girls and boys. The mess food is also very good and affordable as well. Guests can also stay in hostels with the permission of warden. Also the DJ nights happens frequently for fun.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is also very good. All the classrooms are well maintained and smart classes are also there. A vast collection of books are available for the students. Reading halls are also available here that are open 24x7 for students. There are 3 canteens which are well maintained and we can get a variety of snacks.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is great. There is an herbal park which is very beautiful and M-fest and annual fest happens every year. The student crowd is also good. Everybody is helpful towards each other and there is no college politics. The environment is very peaceful and on every occasion certain activities and competitions are held.

  • CDLU is an average University
     

    Overall Rating
    Sirsa is a town city in Haryana and CDLU is one of the landmarks here. The University is located at Bypass and I had to travel 10 kilometers to reach the University. Attendance is not that strict and it’s easy to pass at the University as the scoring is quite generous. The reason why I said average is because if you check the NAAC credits, it has awarded the B grade to the University.
