Symbiosis is a deemed university with good history. It is also known for its quality education along with its facilities. Fee structure could be high for some students but academics and campus life is worth the hype. It offer Electronics, Computer Network, Telecommunication, and also focuses on students’ elective courses and specializations. The university goes beyond academics, offers tech talks, seminars, and mainly works on practical application to provide hands on experience to each student, which can be valuable in today’s tech market. Academics mainly depend on your branch, professors, and elective course that you choose. Some classes are mind numbingly theoretical while others are project based that actually keeps you engaged and makes you ready for future projects. Classes have fixed number of students. It is usually at small scale so that teachers provide individual attention to each student. Some programs and subjects may seem competitive & challenging but helps in collaboration with peers.

Faculty and their teaching styles would vary greatly depending on course obtained, program, etc. Teachers encourage us critical thinking and try to explain theory using practical practices. They pose questions, challenges, puzzle, and quiz to test our understanding, which clears our mind thoughts immediately. Some professors also go for a blended approach using flipped classrooms where students learn concepts independently before class discussions. We have placement cell, which works for bringing well-reputed companies, and sign agreement with them to get students placed with higher packages. Career Service Department takes interview preparations, writing workshops, and resume building workshops to make students ready to face the company. Sometimes, it is difficult for a student to sit in placement due to low CGPA, which could be a task for students having less that 6 CGPA in each semester. This might not always be the case depending on company’s limited seats and eligibility it could be possible.

Yes, we have residential facilities in my institute. It includes extra charges but also helps in connecting with peers deeply and socializes more around people/friends. Honestly, hostel life here is average. If I point out some areas of improvement, areas like hygiene and security could be better.

The building, the architecture, and the infrastructure are all what makes Symbiosis International University a huge hype. Here is an honest review, classrooms have sufficient space but auditorium lack of space capacity. Smart boards, projectors, and comforting seating arrangement makes students stay and study here easily. A well-stocked library is a goldmine for students here. The reason is that it has all types of reference materials and silent study spaces with zero disturbances. Ideally, computer lab should be sufficient to accommodate students.

There are tons of clubs for pretty much everything. first, we have cultural club, arts club, branding club, marketing club, technical club, and sports council for maintaining mental as well as physical excellence of the students. Joining a club is a great way to outstand yourself from crowd to gain some fame in this university life. No wonder university conducts a variety of events throughout the year. These range from concerts to movie night to career fairs and social gatherings as well. University has lots to offer. I suggest, you should explore and make memories here.
