The main purpose of choosing this institute is that it is a part of Jaypee group which is itself a reputed brand. I love the location of the university, if you want a college which is situated in a hilly area then you should definitely go for the Jaypee Solan.

I am pursuing Information Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Jaypee University. The eligibility for this course is obtaining a minimum of 60% in 12th and 10th. The motive for enrolling in this program is that the computer science field is currently booming nowadays and will grow with time. Therefore, it is having a successful career path.

The faculties here are much experienced with 20+ years of experience and have plenty of knowledge about recent techs and domains. They all are majors from IITs, Thapar or Jadavpur University and most of them are Ph.D scholars. Each faculty has a different style of teaching, some focus more on practical based concepts while others focus more on theoretical concepts.

Placements are here improving from last year. The highest package is 40 lakhs per annum, while the average is 4 lakhs per annum.

I recommend staying in hostels as you will experience so much of growth. There are great hostel facilities and the food is good too.

Since the campus is situated in a hilly region it has a great infrastructure as compared to other college campuses. There is a 4-storied academic block with a cafeteria and every floor has restrooms from girls and boys.

The campus has a good crowd. You will experience 3 fests in one year; a sports fest, tech fest and cultural fest. There are semester tournaments every semester where you can participate in many games weight lifting, badminton, basketball, cricket, football, table tennis and relay races etc. This is a great place to enhance one’s skills and foster development.
