My experience at this institute has been extremely rewarding with academic elevation, personal growth and community engagement. I chose this college because it perfectly aligned with my academic and professional goals. It has a reputation of having highly skilled staffs. Additionally, the opportunities for interdisciplinary learning and the emphasis on real world applications were appealing to me.

I am pursuing Bachelor of Science in Data Science. This is an undergraduate program that focuses on equipping students with the necessary skills to analyse, interpret and manage data. The curriculum typically combines elements of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science. It provides domains of specific knowledge of comprehensive understanding and taking data driving decisions. The entry requirements and eligibility is a person must complete 12th standard with 70% or more, having Math as one of their subjects. My motive in choosing Data Science has various reasons including the career opportunities it provides. It is a rapidly growing field with high demands across varies industries such as finance, healthcare, technology and retail. It also has a high earning potential for the next 10 years.

The faculty in this particular course comes from diverse academic professional background, providing a rich and great learning experience. The teaching styles include lecture based learning which uses traditional, interactive lectures and practical hands on training. Large workshops and project based learnings are conducted.

They do have a placement cell where the placement starts in this final semester. The most recruiting companies are Accenture, Deloitte, Goldman Sach, Prelude Systems, Zoho and many more startups. The average packages lies between 3-4 lacs per annum.

The infrastructure of the college, it is well maintained and clean. It has a library which can be used to issue books. Besides the library is the computer lab which are used by the students of Data Science and Computer Science. It also has a small ground with parking spaces for two-wheeler vehicles.

Cultural fest and club activities are conducted once a while. The department of Data Science conducts frequent workshop and inter-collegiate competitions for the students, to keep them engaged. The college holds big shot cultural events each semester where many celebrity artists are invited.
