Christ College Irinjalakuda is a very famous institution. It is one of the best colleges in Kerala that you can choose for arts and science. Christ offers a variety of Bachelor Degree and Master's Degree Courses. B.Com (tax, professional) BCA, BBA, B.Sc, BPE are some of the courses. There is also Master’s for Library Science. I choose this institution because it is very famous and popular for its cultural activities and fests. The faculty and staff are also the best. The admission process is pretty easy for merit students. Management students have it harder than merit because there is a huge surge for seats. If you know someone in the college who can make a recommendation for you it'll be better for your admission. The college is full of trees and greenery. It has two gardens, which are so big that you'll find it harder to leave the atmosphere.

The course I'm doing is B.Sc Food Technology. It's a good course for people who are into food and nutrition. You can become a dietician through this course. The eligibility to get into the course for merit seats is if you score more than 90% in your 12th grade. For management, you'll have to pay huge amount of fees as compared to merit seats and get at least 80% in your 12th grade. My motive for getting into this course is my love for food and I think people should get good and safe food. I would like to be someone who makes sure that it happens. This course also has great opportunities both aboard and in India. As you know there will be no time that food goes out as a necessity, hence this course will help you get a job and will make sure that it lasts.

Faculty of Christ College Irinjalakuda is the best. They behave just like friends and maybe this is because around half of the faculties are pass outs from the same college. They are super fun to be around and will help you out with anything. Let it be studies or anything else. One thing about Christ is its reliable teachers. You'll definitely love them. I have some of the best teachers that I have ever met in my entire life. They are Ph.D holders. They are very well qualified and trained for their jobs. Most of them are very good teachers.

Christ does have a placement cell. If you need placement then you can go to the placement cell and they will do the rest. But most of the courses do not have placements. But, the placement cells will try their best to get you a placement with a good package. There are also internship opportunities for all the courses.

Yes, there are hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Hostels’ environment is not really strict. Curfew is around 7 for girls and boys. Hostels are big enough to accommodate at least 100 students. There are different rooms. The fees will vary with the room that you choose. Hostel’s food is the best part. There programs for Christmas, Eid, Onam, etc. are organised in hostel.

The campus is very big and beautiful. The infrastructure of the college is just wow. There are 7-8 blocks. Administrative block (AB block) is the biggest and the most beautiful. It is at the heart of the campus and looks majestic. There is a big fountain at the entrance which adds to the beauty of this block. There are labs and a small aquarium. A big college ground for the sports events, beautiful library with a good collection of books for reading as well as reference. Christ has NAAC A++ accreditation. The greenery just adds to the beauty of the entire campus. There are also animals like emu, horses, rabbits, swans, fishes, ducks, etc.

People from different parts of the country are there in Christ. Anyone who joins will definitely have the best years of their life. There are many fests and every occasion is celebrated. There are fests for each and every department. At Christ you'll be able to join many clubs and if you are into politics you can join parties. The crowd is just amazing and very welcoming. You'll never feel left out and that is guaranteed. Sports meet, cultural events, arts fests, food fests, IT fests, etc. are some of the many events of Christ college Irinjalakuda.
