Christ College Thrissur: All About Facilities, Clubs, and Events

Overall Rating
My overall experience in Christ College Thrissur is very nice and the campus is vast with a very good infrastructure. The factor that made me choose this Institution is its reputation and it is affilited to University of Calicut. They offer a lot of courses with several major and minor subjects. There are more than four thousand individuals studying here. With a large number of supportive faculty members, this College is a very good option for students.
 

Academics Rating
The course I have chosen is B.Sc in Mathematics and Computer Science double major which has 2 major subjects as the name suggests. Since I have a double major, I don't have the option to take any minor subjects. Three papers are of major subjects where two Mathematics exams and a CS exam are conducted in the odd semesters, and two CS and 1 Mathematics exam is taken in the even semesters. Apart from this, we are also provided with two languages and a multi discipline subject which is Mathematics for competitive exam.
The fee of this course at Christ College Thrissur varies for different students. They also provide scholarships for individuals belonging to SC category.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very good and, almost all of them have completed their doctorates and are well experienced. Our Head of department is a very experienced professor and has a Ph.D as well. Since my subject is mathematics, we don't require any PPT. There are smart boards in every class which our teachers use to write and solve problems on. They are very approachable and compassionate towards their students.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a Placement Cell in our College. It conducts interviews on a regular basis for third year students. Everyone receives training from them for the interviews. Many IT companies and Banks provide good packages.
 

Hostel Rating
The Christ College Thrissur offers residential facilities for both boys and girls and their accommodation is separate. The monthly hostel fee is between Rs. 6000/- to Rs. 8000/-.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has very good infrastructure. It has 7 Academic blocks and has a very huge number of classrooms with smart boards and seminar halls. There is a very huge library present in the Institution as well. This College also has multiple grounds, a synthetic athletic track, an open gym facility for students and a garden specifically for girls.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is very good, and the crowd is vast and provide us good exposure. Various celebrities are studying here and we are having a lot of fun without compromising our studies. The main 4 Units which are are NCC, NSS, CSA and Thavanish. Apart from these clubs, there are Dance, Music, Reading, and Film club as well. I'm a part of the NSS Unit. The Institution organises events on a daily basis. There isn't a single day our auditorium is free of a program. Each department has yearly fests. My experience here is very nice and I'm having a good College life.

    First of all, the campus of Christ College Irinjalakuda, Thrissur is very good and eco-friendly. It's quite famous for its students union, activities, and College functions, which are awesome. Based on my experience they have a very good faculty which is very helpful for students. There are various clubs which helps the students build a good career.     Christ College Irinjalakuda is a very famous institution. It is one of the best colleges in Kerala that you can choose for arts and science.
