Well if you go by placements then this institute has better placements than most other NITs which you would get at the same rank. After spending a year I can say it has a very good environment for both your personality development and overall growth. You will have good junior and senior bond and can ask for any help from your seniors. The college life is good and satisfactory; you would enjoy the festivals a lot. The clubs are excellent and are must for your career and personality growth. You can come out of your introvert shell and gain self confidence by participating in cultural, technical, and sports activities.

The academic is good especially the Physics faculty. You would be taught Python for ME (mechanical), SM (smart manufacturing), and ECE branch and C programming language for CSE as first year students. I would say the study materials given by professor are enough to ace your semester exams.

Professors at any college they more or less are the same everywhere. Don't expect that you will be taught like coaching institutes. Don't depend on professor, the study material provided is enough and easy to prepare. I would say Maths is easy, electronics and engineering drawing is average, and Physics is hard in terms of scoring.

Yes, there is a separate Placement cell which helps you to prepare for your Internships and gives you updates on important upcoming opportunities from any good companies. If you're going off-campus then it's well and good but the placement cell gives you some training and offers internship for on-campus placements.

Talking about hostel and college life it has exceeded my expectations. The hostel in which I am living in H-3. It is good and spacious. You would be living in a 3 seater room for your first year then it gradually decreases to 2 and in your final year you will have the whole room. The girls’ hostel Saraswati is recently built for first year girls and it is in excellent condition. It has elevators and good lighting system and looks spectacular from outside. You are provided with canteen and a badminton court in each hostel. Apart from that, there is a small garden where you can relax with your friends.

There are 9 blocks from A to I in my hostel H-3 (Aryabhatta). The buildings are in good condition and are maintained on regular basis. It has 3 floors plus a ground floor and the Wi-Fi speed is average. The buildings are positioned in a semicircular shape. My hostel has club rooms for dance, music, and drama society. So, you can see members of club rehearsing from time to time.

Campus life is good and you would definitely enjoy here. The overall campus is lush green and has an area of around 3000 acres surrounded by forest. Behind the hostel there is the Dumna Nature park and the Khandari lake where you might be able to see Gharials. The branches of B.Tech include CSE, ECE, ME, and SM. We also have Design, PG, PhD, and research scholar students. A major group of students are from south also, So, you get to learn and enjoy their lifestyle and culture also. Students are very enthusiastic about preparing and celebrating festivals. All Northern and Southern festivals are celebrated with great excitement and happiness. Keeping college life apart, the most important thing it has is its good coding culture. TPC club provides you good mentors and you can easily interact with your seniors about anything from improving your skills to developing a project.
