My review of BTKIT

Overall Rating
I met with some wonderful people there. As the institute is very much reputed, that's what made me choose it. Hanging out with friends and making memories was the best part. You should choose this institute as the academics and overall development is very good and also you can experience to live very close to nature.
 

Academics Rating
BTKIT offers courses like B.Tech, BCA, MCA and M.Tech. B.Tech includes various disciplines including Chemical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electrical, ECE and Civil Engineering. The institute takes admissions through the JEE mains score. The cutoff is usually high for CSE. There are approx. 60 seats in each discipline. To get admission you can apply for UTU counseling or apply for the direct spot counseling in the college.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They are very supportive towards students. They make use of the available teaching aids and explain the concepts in a practical manner. Most of the faculties have doctorate degree from top IITs. Some faculties are very strict towards academics and also give many assignments.
 

Placement Rating
The college does have a Training and Placement Cell. The placements have been quite good in branches like CSE, ECE, EE and Mechanical from the past few years.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college has residential facilities. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Hostels do not have proper maintenance and condition of bathrooms and toilets is very poor. Otherwise the hostel life is pretty good. There are two big playgrounds for athletics and sports like cricket and football. There are basketball courts too. As the college campus is very large, there is ample space to roam around.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are different departments for all different branches. There is a multipurpose hall, central library, a big workshop and a central computer facility center. All the buildings are properly maintained and do have provision for smart classes. Each department has separate labs for different subjects. The lab equipment is in a good condition. There are also various canteens.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is very good. The institute is surrounded by the beautiful valley of Dwarahat which is pleasing to the eyes. The weather here is also very good. The college organises a cultural fest called "SCINTILLA" and the sports fest called "SPARDHA" every year. It also conducts various alumni meets in between the semesters.

    Overall Rating
    First of all, the college is located between the hills, so you'll get good environment there. Moreover, the faculties are good and experienced. Various sports activities and fests are also conducted from time to time. So, student will remain indulged in fruitful and good activities. I think others should also opt for that college as it also provides placement opportunities and on the top of that it's the government college so there's always a respect factor associated with it....
