Our VEMU Institute of Technology is like a family. The bond between lecturers and students are like friends. When coming to the academics, it can be very easy for us because our faculty gives a detailed explanation of the topic. The infrastructure is good as it is maintained neatly and cleanly. Our college maintains some dress codes for the students and faculty also. We have both hostels and bus facilities. In campus we have a food court and canteens available. Overall, this institute is good; we can achieve our goals with help of our VEMU family.

In our college we have CSE, ECE, EEE, CIVIL, MECH and specializations in CSE, B.Tech. We also have diploma courses and MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA courses in our college. In B.Tech, for each subject there will be 5 units. We have 2 middle term exams and 1 semester end exam. After qualifying in the semester exams we get credits which help us to move forward. There are no problems with academics because our faculty members are very friendly and clarify our doubts clearly.

In our college there are separate faculties for each block and each group. Almost all of our faculty members are Ph.D and M.Tech graduates. Their task is to complete 5 units of the syllabus in a given period. Before they are coming to class, they learn the topic and prepare some PPTs on it to give detailed information about the topic. After completing each unit they conduct some tests so that they can come to one conclusion, that how much we understand the topic. After completing the syllabus they will start revision. In one word the faculty members are like our friends, they encourage us to participate in everything.

VEMU Institute of Technology has a placement cell. It helps students secure jobs.

We have hostel facilities in our college. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Both hostels are inside the campus only. We have a good infrastructure with many facilities. We have gym facilities in the hostel. Every evening we had a study hour to complete our academic work. They provide good food and good drinking water. The hostel life in our college is awesome.

Our college infrastructure is very good, compared to other colleges. We have different blocks for each branch. The first year students have their classes in the H&S block while the second to final year students move to their core branch blocks. We have one library, having lots of books and magazines to read. We can issue the books for 15 days and then return it back to the library. Our college is filled with greenery in front of the blocks, which gives a good vibe for the students and faculty.

In the student phase, every student wants to enjoy his/her college life. Our college is like that only. We can enjoy our campus life. The faculty encourages us in both academics and extracurricular activities. We have one sports period to play. There is a 3-day fest in our college. The first day is called “Khelo VEMU”, in that day we distribute prizes to the winners who had showcased their talent in sports. The second day is called “Pragna”, the name itself indicates that we have to show our talents in the academic oriented programs, there will be prizes for the winners too. The third but last day is called “Nach”, which is meant for dance. In all these three days we have lots of fun in our college. We celebrate a traditional day in our college every year in the month of January. There are some clubs in this college too. We can fully enjoy our college life in this institute.
