IIIT Lucknow - Good or Bad?

Overall Rating
IIIT Lucknow is a trade-off between fun and the future i.e. if you want a great coding culture, great placements and a secured future you should come here. But if you prioritize having a great hostel and sports facilities than you should choose another college. Since my priorities were aligned with what this college provides, I opted for it.
 

Academics Rating
There are 4 courses which are currently offered by this college, which are IT (Information Technology), CSAI (Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence), CS (Computer Science) and CSB (Computer Science and Business). Students securing a rank in the range 6000-8000 can try for the college in the JOSAA counselling (CRL). If your motive is to study and go through a robust study program, then you should join this institute.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members here generally have great qualifications. Some are scientists from DRDO, UNESCO patrons and doctorate holders from top IITs and other top colleges. The student to faculty ratio is around 1:8 which allows a room for enough interaction between the student and faculties. There is also a system of visiting faculty, which allows a certain course to be taught by an expert in that field or by someone highly qualified.
 

Placement Rating
The placements in the college are pretty solid which can be seen from the previous placement stats of both B.Tech and M.Tech. The placement cell literally helps a student in getting lots of placements as there is a great synergy between the TPO and the members of the Training and Placement cell. Students have a great say in its working.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we do have hostels and dormitories which are of good quality but not enough quantity. Girls and boys each have 1 hostel, with boys having dormitories. The only unique comfort in the hostels is that they are very close to the classrooms and the admin block.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The quality of the hostels is good. The classrooms are pretty good too, as they have smart boards or TVs in every classroom which allows the hybrid model to be implemented in imparting knowledge. Also, there are 2 messes in the college which are both common for boys and girls. Other facilities such as grounds, gardens, badminton courts, gyms, TT room, chess and carrom room, etc. are provided too.
 

Campus Rating
There are many clubs to keep you engaged throughout your time in college. Also, there are cultural, entrepreneurial, sports and technical fests held throughout the year. Many festivals are celebrated in the college. Along with that, you can visit many places near the college such as stadium, malls, etc.

    Indian Institute of Information Technology, Lucknow is the best college to get placed and get a high paid job and to fulfill the dreams of each and everyone. I get into this college by qualifying in the Mains with a good rank. The facilities and faculty too are better in this college.     Genuinely my overall experience is far better from what I expected from IIIT Lucknow. Here's the technical culture as well as people are supportive. So, I made the decision to choose IIIT Lucknow because I heard great things about the technical programs they offer and the supportive environment on campus.
