Jorhat Engineering College is best for its beautiful campus. Campus has a beautiful lake in front of the college administrative building with facilities of chairs around the lake. We can sit in those chairs and relax a little bit. Besides we have a very auditorium called Arnab Kishore Bordoli auditorium funded by Oil India Limited. Moreover we have a knowledge park where we organise different types of cultural or fun activities. Also we have a big library which is not started yet and an Indore badminton court, boy’s common room, girl’s common room, workshops, canteen, and 10 hostels - 8 boys’ hostel and 2 girl’s hostel. And environment of the college is very beautiful and encouraging.

To get admission into Jorhat Engineering College you have to give an exam called CEE. On the basis of the mark and rank you get your desire branch like if you want Computer science and Engineering you have to score better. College academics are also very good and interactive, interesting at the same time which challenges us to improve us.

The faculty of our college means Jorhat Engineering College is very good. The professors are educated from reputed institutions like IIT Guwahati, IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, IIT kharagpur, Assam Engineering College and itself from Jorhat Engineering College with Ph.D and M.Tech degrees and they publish good journals also. The environment is very interactive among teachers and students.

Yes we have placement cell. It has a very significant role in campus placements. Jorhat Engineering College best for their relationship with company. All the big company’s oil, Vedanta, Power Grid comes to Jorhat Engineering College campus for recruiting for their post. In this year 10 students got a very good annual package from reputed company. Definitely it has a very meaningful impact on JEC students.

Jorhat Engineering College is famous for their hostels. It has 11 hostels right now. 8 boys hostel, 2 girls hostel and 1 researcher hostel and also there are two other hostels under construction. Hostel life is best for JEC students. There are various inter hostel competition like cricket, football, cleanliness, street play, volleyball or more. It has beautiful relation among hostel boarders. Good senior and junior relationship. And very helping environment.

Jorhat Engineering College is best known for its infrastructure and buildings. Old buildings are also in very good condition and a new building is established for students. Moreover there are hostels with good infrastructure facility. It also has a large auditorium in very good condition. There is no such infrastructure in Assam other than JEC WRT auditorium.

Campus Life is very beautiful. There is lot of engaging activities going on every day. Especially the evening time is best for students to walk around the campus. It has plenty of trees that make the environment more beautiful with birds chirping. It has very good canteen where we pass our time during breaks. So overall campus Life is very chill.
