The best Engineering Institute - Girijananda Chowdhury University

Overall Rating
Before taking admission into this college I heard a lot about it and so I decided to take admission in here and guess what my decision was not wrong. This college provides every necessity that a student requires plus the faculty is also very good. If one is looking for a good engineering institute I would definitely recommend this college to them.
 

Academics Rating
There are various courses offered by the college but the course that I choose was Civil Engineering. For admission one can give the GCU admission examination and then can get the admission. It requires class 12 mark sheet in the admission time. Also there are various scholarships for students who appeared in JEE, CEE exams. The eligibility criteria are that you must pass class 12. And my motive for enrolling in this program is because there are various job opportunities in this field which will be further helpful for me.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very good. They teach their subjects with great passion. The teachers here are very punctual too and their qualifications are also very good. They teach in a way which is very helpful for the students to understand and are very friendly too. So if one has any doubts regarding anything they can definitely talk with their respective subject teachers.
 

Placement Rating
Yes we have placement cell at our Institute. And it is very helpful for the students. Every year students get placed in well known industries. This encourages everyone to study well in order to get placed in any of the companies that come for the placement.
 

Hostel Rating
Students who live far from their homes can safely stay in the hostels. The rooms are clean and also timely food is provided in the mess. Students get quite a lot of facilities too. The infrastructure of the hostels (both girls and boys are good) and the hostel warden are strict too which gives assurance to every student’s parents regarding the safety of their child.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are separate buildings for GIPS and GIMT. From the 3rd semester the students are placed in different floors (blocks) according to the courses that they have selected. There are staff rooms in every floor based on the departments that are in there and the classes are also good with proper infrastructure.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is quite good. There are various fests that are organised by the institution. Various competitions that are held during the fests which helps the students to gain courage. Every year there is a college fest which is conducted for 3 days. It includes modeling competition, singing bands and well known artists are invited. In short the overall campus life is quite interesting. Various quiz competitions are also held and conducted by the university to keep the students engaged.
