I was a computer science student in DBGI Dehradun. I did my B.Tech from there. But due to several reasons, I decided to do my master's in engineering from ABES Ghaziabad. One reason is I want to move near a metropolitan city to get more exposure. As in Dehradun, there weren’t many companies to provide me such needs. The admission process is straightforward and the fees for the 2 years masters’ course are also affordable. It is a private college; therefore, you will not be facing many problems in the admission process. You just have to submit your details and the report card of your graduation. The placements here are good, and the college management including the placement cell is very supportive and had come to help throughout the stay of 2 years.
The computer science engineering here is amazing. The labs built for our course are good; it has a high-tech server that supports so many systems at a time. Moreover, you could do high-end development there like artificial intelligence, Advanced Machine learning, and python which might not work in low-end laptops of students. The course includes more than 10 subjects, for which you have to give around 6 tests or exams each semester.
The faculty of our college is good. You will see that most of the professors are highly educated having doctorates in engineering and are highly experienced. The teachers here are polite and do not put any pressure on completing the syllabus quickly. Neither the pace up the course nor slow it too down so it becomes hard when the exams are nearby. Professors are very supportive and teach the subject very well. They also, provide all the necessary study material required in placement rounds and also during the university exams.
Mostly, all the students get placed during the placement year, as the aim for all the students are for placements only once you are doing masters. Also, the placements in CSE are good and students don’t have to struggle to bag the average placement of 5 LPA. However, the highest placement for our branch gets up to 35 LPA. The companies that visit the college every year are Cisco, TCS, Infosys, etc. Moreover, the internship opportunities here are good. You get to have on-campus internship opportunities. Talking about internships, almost every student from our batch got an internship at a good company. There are also certain coding camps that can be useful in your career and also in killing your summer and winter vacations.
Your hostel life will surely be amazing here. I don’t know about the undergrad here, but for the master’s students, you get a room all by yourself to live. The hostel rooms are small but fine. If you’re cleaning your room you can throw the dust and garbage in the dustbin outside your room in the corridor which will be then picked each day by the sweepers. The hostel food is moderate, not so good but is healthy enough. There are few indoor sports available in the hostel, although for outdoor sports you have to go to the playgrounds and stadiums. There are also nearby canteens where the food quality is good and the price is also not high.
The building of the ABES is modern and enough big. The classes are modern and are equipped with smart projectors and air conditioners. Moreover, the seating arrangement is also in the ladder-style, which gives a modern and beautiful look. The college campus is very clean and properly sanitized. Also, other facilities like medical facilities are good and instant. In any case, you have to visit the campus hospital, you don’t have to wait much longer in the queue plus you are received very well by the attendants. There is a Wi-Fi-facility in the entire campus that provides 2GB/day to each student in many places of the campus like, library, auditorium, computer labs, and college classes.
Overall, it is an average college, with quite a good surrounding and locality. If you want to study, do internships, and participate in such programs, then, this college location is enough to fulfill your needs. Moreover, if you are a day-school, there are many opportunities and places to hang out. There are many events happening like comedy clubs, concerts, and poetry shows nearby in the city where you can go hang out with your friends outside the college. Moreover, inside the college also, there are certain events hosted by the college that will provide ample entertainment. Also, the campus offers so many places like cafeterias, parks, and gardens to hanging out, which is a useful thing on a hectic day when you have to take breaks.
I did my B.Tech from DBGI Dehradun, which was an amazing experience of four years. I didn’t sit for placements, as I was hoping to land in the higher package than was expected from on-campus placements at DGBI. Therefore in my third year itself, I decided to do my master's in engineering from some other institute. I couldn’t think of a better place than ABES, Ghaziabad. The college had a good ranking among other private colleges. It has a clear-cut ranking of number one in AKTU ranking. The ... Read Full Review
ABES Engineering College Ghaziabad is a perfect college for students who want to build their career as Engineers. After some hard time during the schooling, as getting admissions here required good numbers in JEE, I had huge expectations from the College. I completed by B.Tech (IT) in 2016 from ABESEC and will say that the College is quite cheaper than many other private colleges or universities. Many people have questioned the packages of B.Tech students here, but the College is more about lear... Read Full Review
Frankly speaking as a M.Tech student, I never thought I will have this much fun. My answer is based on what I expected and considering that with the amount of fun that I had there. Getting admissions here is quite tough as it is one of the best colleges that offer M.Tech in CSE. Students from across the country chase this college but one needs to be best to get here. A good score at GATE and then the interview process. It will give you the feel of an MBA but the only difference is that in interv... Read Full Review
ABES Engineering College is a top college for engineering in UP. Coming from Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, I had huge expectations from this one. There’s no worry as the college was way better than what I thought. M.Tech (CSE) from ABES EC is relatively cheaper than other private colleges, and if we compare that with the ROI, it’s not even peanuts. The course had loopholes as the study was tough, and one has to be on song to pass the semester exams in one go. The passing per... Read Full Review

First of all, many people get confused between ABES IT and ABES EC. Both are different as ABESEC is old while ABESIT is new. The campuses are adjacent but both the colleges have their own campus.
