Facilities at ABES Engineering College: From Hostels to Academic Blocks

ABES Engineering College is among the top colleges of AKTU. It has a history of good placement records and academics. These factors made me choose this one. In addition, it is located at a premium location from where transportation is very easy also, the fee of college is nominal so these are the factors that attracted me. My overall experience at college is good with very nice faculties and staff. College campus is located at very good location on NH 24 and Delhi Meerut expressway. hangouts spots are nearby like Gaur City Mall, Noida Sector 62, Akshardham etc.

There are two methods to get admission. First method is by counseling through JEE Main rank. If you have approximately 2-3 lakh rank, you have chance to get CSE core branch. Direct admission is through management quota. For taking direct admission in college, you should have score above 85% in class 12 with PCM. I would recommend taking admission through counseling as 85% of total seats are reserved for counseling students. You have to fill counseling on AKTU portal. There are 3 internal exams and 1 external exam takes place the difficulty level of questions in sessional (internal) test is very easy you can pass easily if you study 1 day before exam.

The total year fee of academics for first year is Rs. 1,33,600 Breakdown is given below tuition fee is Rs. 11,000, Insurance is Rs. 500, Career and development fee is Rs. 16,000, Security is Rs. 5,000, and extra dress fee is Rs. 9,000.

Faculties of the college are good. As there are many students in college and many sections of CSE branch itself, so there are many faculties of it. All faculties are well qualified and most of them are having PhD degree. They have a lot of teaching experience and they are also open to industry So they knowledge about industry. Both white board and projectors are in classroom. It totally depends on teacher how they want to teach. There are approx. 1 teacher per 50 students.

The placement cell is very active. If you get admission here, then you will have a very high percentage of being placed. The placement records of college are good. In 2024 batch, highest package was 60 Lakh and avgas was 5 LPA to 6 LPA. There are many companies that visit on campus for placement some are josh technology, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, etc.

There are separate boys’ and girls’ hostel. Both of them are in campus. There are 2 seater, 3 seater and 4 seater rooms available both AC and non-AC rooms available. There are approximately 500 students in 1st year boy’s hostel. For boys, in summers, the gate closing time is 9:30 PM and in winters, it is 9:00 PM. Similarly, For girls, in summers, the gate closing time is 7:00 PM, in winters, the gate closing time is 6:00 PM. Except mess food, all facilities of hostels are excellent. In 1st year, I will recommend students to take hostel.

The total area of college campus is about 15. College campus is much maintained. There are 5 blocks in the college are named as Aryabhatta block- the block of CSE department from 2nd year, Kalpana Chawla block- All the classes of 1st year take place here, Ramanujan block: block of core branches like Electrical, Bhabha block, and Vishwakarma block - Mechanical workshop present here.

The overall campus life is decent. There are many regularly many events take place in the college. The college crowd is ok. Surely, few students in the college did a great work in their field. 50% of the college crowd is good as they admitted over 1000 students in CSE branch. There are many clubs in the college you can join according to your interest such as dancing level up crew and many more clubs.
