My POV on Hindu College New Delhi

Overall Rating
The kind of insights that I have got so far from Hindu College is really incredible. It is very crucial to join the societies in the first year, as academic schedule luckily at DU, is not that tight. College's schedule is considered very tight but I still feel it is manageable to get other things going. All in all, it provides several opportunities for students to grow and learn.

Academics Rating
Academics can never be unsettling at the College as we are still a month and a half away from our semester exams and our syllabus is about to end. This has become possible as DU operates with very few holidays and strict attendance laws. In my eyes academics of College attracts attention as sometimes I do feel like skipping but my heart never let me do so as my course and College both are quite exciting.
It is among the most expensive Colleges of DU and yet the fees for B.A English (Hons.) are just Rs. 33,000/- for a year.

Faculty Rating
Faculties of the College are one of the all-time greats in teaching, as I do not think I can even imagine faculties teaching better than this. Faculties are the biggest showstoppers by any stretch of imagination. Our faculties have huge teaching experience as well. Thus, both faculties and students compliment each other quite well. Therefore, students and faculties story at Hindu College is like a fairytale.

Placement Rating
For my course, I am not sure the placements but for Commerce department, I know the placements are probably the best.

Hostel Rating
Girl’s hostel of Hindu College is probably the only AC girl’s hostel. I do not live there but I know it is far better than off campus options.

Infrastructure Rating
I wish all the departments were shifted in the new block as our department classes are still held in the old block. The old block does not have elevators but the new one has. One of the biggest when it comes to space and has the maximum sports facilities. Many domestic cricketers come and use our College’s gym and sports facilities, as they are world class. The College also has a few canteens.

Campus Rating
The Hindu College New Delhi has given or should I say has shown me so many colors that I am still in awe. It all started with a minimum gathering during freshers and last month an event called ‘Influx’ was there at our College. Many top influencers were invited to our campus and many seniors have told me this is just the beginning. For students' safety, the College has an Anti-Ragging Committee'.
