Hindu College Fee Structure & Scholarships

Hindu College, known for its diversity is a wonderful place for those youngsters who want to build an overall brilliant personality apart from excellence in academics. One is exposed to an environment full of innovative minds and people who discuss about future opportunities. I personally feel the college is a wonderful medium to get socialized and to learn new skills in all kinds of fields. I personally acquired many skills in the field of music and public speaking and the activities really helped me to build my confidence. Definitely Join the college if you want yourself to be a great personality.

I choose Mathematics Honors and I wish to research more on the field. Firstly you have to pass 12th board exam and then you have to appear in CUET-UG. Once you get selected based on your achieved marks and college preference list you have to take admission through the DU website. There are 4-6 class tests apart from seasonal test per semester per paper and the test helps to know where we stand and what the weak points are. The academics thought me how to cover a huge complicated syllabus in short amount of time managing with other activities of the societies and college.

The fees in Mathematics department of Hindu College per year are approx Rs. 27,000 which is the basic fee for admission into 1st and 2nd semester. Than after there is a fee of about Rs. 1,000 – Rs. 1,500 for examination registration per semester. There are fee weaving schemes for different class of people. There are many scholarship provided to the students on merit so that it motivates students to work harder and perform better.

Personally feeling the faculty here in Hindu College is just wonderful. They work very hard so that the knowledge they have in them is acquired by us students. There is sincerity in every class that the professors take and they are very passionate about their way of teaching. They are available almost whole day either in college or through mobile and whenever there is any problem in a particular concept they personally clear the doubts and never get irritated. Most importantly classes are not being canceled on personal accounts and faculty is sincere about the classes.

The Hindu College has two academic blocks where classes are held, apart from one research center for higher researched work. There is a sports complex equipped with sports amenities. There are 2 auditoriums in the campus and 2 cafeterias with big space area and good quality food to get refreshed. The college has grounds like football ground, volleyball ground, basketball ground and a cricket arena. There is a big library in the college equipped with high speed internet and huge collection of books of both course and outside the syllabus. The college has a girl’s hostel in its campus and ongoing construction of boy’s hostel. The college has Toilet facilities in each floor for both boys and girls, girls’ toilets have sanitary pads for free use of female students.

I have spent a semester here in Hindu College and I had a wonderful stay here in the college. The people around me are very generous and kind and always cheerful, just making my days beautiful here in this college. The best thing is that everyone here talks about doing great things which prevented me from getting distracted from other things. Friends help each other during studies and there is a healthy competition among all students. You will get people outstanding in all fields like academics, music, sports and other co-curricular and extracurricular activities and my life here in Hindu college is one of my best experience so far.
