The overall experience at Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Vishakapatnam is good. Also, this university is one of the 23 National Law Universities in India. The environment here is very convenient and comfortable. I choose this university considering it to be a National Law University and the NLU's of this time are said to provide more better opportunities and a good platform to learn a lot of aspects of B.A.LL.B course as compared to other private institutions. This university provides better quality infrastructure when compared to other law colleges.

In DSNLU, the courses available are B.A.LL.B (Hons.), LL.M, PhD, also, from this academic year, Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University is going to provide a LL.B i.e., a 3 year law course. A separate exam is organised by the institution. The entry level requirements to enter the B.A.LL.B course is to appear for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) UG and if a person is able to score the requisite amount of marks in the exam then they can apply for the counselling and a seat will be allocated to them if he/she satisfies the given criteria. A person who wants to pursue LL.M in our university shall appear for the CLAT PG entrance test and they can apply for counselling. They will be allotted a seat if they satisfy the requirements.

There is certain awestruck faculty who would guide you whenever you approach them and their teaching is quite good. The style of the teaching is mostly based on a case law method and the concepts are also taught. We are given the required material and the PPTs through which they teach also. Most of the professors have done their LL.B, LL.M and PhDs in their respective subjects.

Yes, we have a placement cell. It is RCC (Recruitment Coordination Centre). The centre is working to facilitate the job opportunities for students.

The residential facilities are quite good. We are given a double sharing room. We have all the water facilities and our complaints are also rectified as fast as possible. The infrastructure is also good, but there is scope for improvement. Also, more hostel rooms are being built.

Our campus academic block is always clean and the classrooms have the entire necessary infrastructure. We also have a 2 floored library, where there are table to study in the library itself or else we can issue books to study at our hostels. Also, we have abundant books available. We are also provided the newspapers, magazines, etc. to study regularly. We also have an excellent e- library, where it has many off-campus resources available to study and they are quite helpful.

The campus life is also wonderful here. There are many committees like the Moot and Advocacy societies which organise competitions such as the moot court competitions, mock trial competition, mediation, client counselling competitions, and many more international competition also. We also have the Internship Coordination Committee, Recruitment Coordination Committee, STAC, which organises all the cultural events in the campus and creates fun all the time. We also have many more committees, centers, and societies which work for the development of the institution.
