Review on the HKBK College of Engineering

Overall Rating
It can be said that the HKBK College of Engineering has both, positive and negative aspects. It has some merits including high qualification of faculties and some recommended programs like Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering. But the quantitative standards of the infrastructure are rather low.
 

Academics Rating
The academic environment can be considered to be average to good, particularly in ECE and CSE branch. The teaching staff in Electronics have decreased their potential, so only if your passion is in Electronics your good to go! Else opt for CSE.
 

Faculty Rating
The learning environment is enhanced by the qualified instructors who foster a positive learning experience regardless of their department. Moreover most of the teachers are new and have less experience, so learning by the means of online sources is the key.
 

Placement Rating
The placement prospects are rather average and can be improved. Students are also free to look for other opportunities apart from on campus placements. I would not recommend this college if your key goal is focused on academic placements.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel accommodations are average. Therefore, it is advised to go for PG accommodations as the overall experience will be better.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Unfortunately, its physical structure is not well-developed, which poses as a problem to both academic and co-curricular domains.
 

Campus Rating
Apart from academic activities the college experience is quite satisfactory, despite the fact that there are a few clubs and organizations.

    I would recommend the college’s CSE branch as I had students from other branches who always used to have issues. At HKBK, students will learn under the guidance of professors who all are Ph.D. holders.
