Gandhi Institute of Excellent Technocrats placement cell officers are really cooperative

If you want to do B.Tech on a low budget you can choose this college. Here, the teachers are really friendly. If you want to develop your own skills you have to study by yourself. The teachers are there to guide you. The institute has very calm and quiet places to study while viewing the greenery. The academic status of GIET is quite good. They try their best to give students more knowledge. This is the best place to learn and grow. You will really enjoy the college fests here. They conduct national seminars for better communication skills and technical knowledge. This is very helpful for the students.

Admission happens on the basis of your JEE and OJEE rank. You can even get scholarships here. There is a special faculty present for scholarship guidance. The teachers are really cooperative in nature and the management is good here. But the academic curriculum is strict. They conduct 4 internals in 2 semesters. If you study seriously you can achieve good marks. So if you take admission here you have to study by yourself. They take you for industrial visits and conduct practicals for the core branches.

The faculty members of GIET are friendly and helpful in nature. They help you a lot in your studies. They are Ph.D., M.Sc. and M.Tech scholars. If you listen to them carefully the classes will be more interesting. They interact with everyone in their class. They will solve your doubts and problems.

There is a placement cell in GIET. The placement cell officers are really cooperative. They help students to get placed in high tech companies. Our recruiters are from Tech Mahindra, Biotique, Krazytech, HCL and many startup companies. They also help the students to get internships. Students are placed in companies as a software developer, data engineer, project manager, etc.

The boy’s hostel is inside the campus. There is a cafeteria and a canteen present in the hostel, where students can eat whatever they want. The hostel is very neat and clean. For the girls there are two hostels. One is Gothapatna, which is 2-3 km from the college. Whereas the other hostel, CRP Square is 8-10 km from the college. They provide bus facilities for transportation. The food in the girl’s hostel is very good. There rooms with a single bed, double bed, triple bed and five beds available as per your choice. They provide fans, table, chair and a locker.

There is a main building present where all B.Tech classes take place. Near the cafeteria there is a building for the BCA and BBA department. The classrooms are big, with 50-55 students in each class. You can get fresh air from the greenery surrounding the institute. There are two libraries one is for study purposes while the other is for the purpose of issuing books. It is opened 24/7 for everyone. The washrooms are neat and clean. There is a separate common room for the girls and boys.

In March the institute conducts the annual fest called 'Suravi'. You can participate in different competitions like art, dance, song, coding, card making and face painting. GIET conducts talent shows, web seminars and paper presentations. You can even get prizes. If you did very well in your academic session you will be given the “best student of the year award”. We have hackathon and startups programs over here. Every occasion like the Ganesh puja, Saraswati puja and Holi is celebrated very well with music. You will enjoy here a lot. There are students club like ERDC for startup and innovative programs. The students here are really helpful in nature.
