Loyola Academy Secunderabad placement cell is well organized and functional

Loyola Academy has always been my first preference. Once you enter the campus you fall in love with the environment, greenery, and welcoming beautiful campus. There are a lot of amenities provided like a huge library, canteen, basket ball court, and a very sound atmosphere. Loyola has multiple activities and different student bodies and clubs to be a part of. Apart from academics it focuses on extracurricular activities as well. Every day one or another event goes on in college which is open for all the students to participate. They encourage you to participate and provide you with certificates, coupons, medals, trophies and cash prizes to motivate you. It builds you up in all aspects and you would pass out of college becoming an excellent version of yourself.

There are 7 schools, be it B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, M.Sc, and MBA. There are a lot of UG courses around 33 and 7 PG courses. Loyola has an application to be filled and submitted online or in person. Then the next step would be a written test an aptitude and a general knowledge based test. After you've been shortlisted you will have an interview with a faculty member to get into the course. Once you join in, Loyola conducts 2 mid semesters and one final exam for each semester. For which they would prepare you very well in advance so that you do not need extra tutors outside college. It is a smooth process and student friendly approach.

Faculty depends on the course you opt. Usually the staff at Loyola is very keen, observant and helpful towards students. We have a class teacher and the HOD assigned for every department. As it is a Jesuit's institution. we have fathers as principals and they're quite approachable as well. When a student faces any issue there are counselors and other related cells in college. Academically the topics taught are clear and understandable, if still one holds any doubt they can feel free to approach the lecturer and they'll be happy to help.

We do have a well organized and functional placement cell in our college. The placement cell releases a report of people who got the placements through campus recruitment and it has been posted on the official website. We have a pre campus recruitment training program as well.

I do not reside in a hostel but we do have hostel for both boys and girls inside the campus. As far as I have heard it is strict with rules but is neat and student friendly. All the amenities such as sanitation facility, food, neatness, ventilation, charging ports, and ward helpers everything is provided.

We have multiple blocks according to the courses opted. The campus itself is very neat and the blocks are maintained well. We have good ventilation, huge projector facilities, library, charging ports, neat bathrooms, and clean drinking water in each block. There are first aid rooms and rest rooms with beds as well; basically it’s a sick room. We have huge seminar halls and huge indoor stadiums in the college to conduct activities and events.

Loyola Academy is known for its extracurricular activities. This is a major boon to students that our college encourages them to participate in the fests and events conducted by every department. Field trips are organised almost every year, we are taken to different home shelters and orphanages. Loyola has different student bodies and clubs like student’s council, magic youth, AICUF, NCC, and NSS to encourage students to take up the responsibility.
