IIIT Raichur is an emerging institute for B.Tech CSE

Overall the institute is good. This is an emerging institute with different branches, with Computer Science and Engineering being the first branch. In the future it is expected that more branches will come. You can get in this institute based on your rank in the JEE Mains and through the JOSAA counselling. If you are a general category student you can get in this college with the rank under 35k. For the OBC category it is 40k and beyond that up to the rank 70k for the SC and ST category. The main reason for me to choose this institute was the branch CSE. I have a great passion for CSE. I would suggest others to do the same; if you have a passion for CSE you can choose this institute. You will not regret it.

The courses provided in IIIT Raichur are mainly for the Computer Science and Engineering department. This course is taught for 4 years by different faculties of Math and the Computer Science department. The curriculum is updated based on the latest trends of the technologies and the demands of various companies. The faculties are easy to approach for any doubt clarification. The main motive for me to enroll here was to have a good academic environment.

The faculties are masters in their domains. They have deep knowledge in their respective fields. They have innovative teaching styles so that they can make every student understand the concepts easily. The faculties are mainly from the Math and Computer Science background. They take feedback from the students to improve their teaching style and always motivate the students to study more.

As of now we are staying in a temporary campus, but it is expected that we will move to the permanent campus in the end of the year 2024. The construction of the permanent campus is in progress. We have academic blocks, labs, a basketball court, volley ball court, gym, football and cricket ground. All are well equipped with the required items.

The campus life of IIIT Raichur is vibrant and diverse, as students from various states and backgrounds comes together to create a rich cultural environment. Here, you will not miss your family. The campus is new so they are a lot of activities you can take part in. As of now the Fresher’s event and Farewell party are conducted, which are grand events.
