For taking admission in BMS, students need to give CET exam. For other undergraduate courses, class 12th marks of students are considered. There is a Gujarati Minority quota available. Also, cut-offs are usually high i.e. above 92 percentage. Various courses have different major subjects and those who wish to master a particular field can choose that relevant course. For example, if one is more inclined towards accounts and finance, BAF is the best choice.

At present, our college's old building is under reconstruction. Our college operates in SVKM's other college buildings. We have a separate wing allocated in Baghubai Mafatlal College's building. Adjoining to our college is DJ Sanghavi Engineering College and NMIMS. There are total of 7 floors but our college classrooms are mainly on 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th floor with Gymkhana on 3rd floor of the building. For entrance, we have biometric system. Students can only enter if they have their ID card. This ensures maximum security as outsiders cannot enter college premises. We have subsidized canteen in basement area which provides quality food and snacks at reasonable rates.

Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics has many committees which focus on different skills and activities. There are few major fests organised in the college by its students. Most popular of them being Umang, Insight, Arithmos, Arthashastra and TedX. Hundreds of students take part in this event’s organization. The hands on experience received while contacting and communicating with outside world is beneficial for students.
