Review on KPB Hinduja College of Commerce

Overall Rating
KPB Hinduja College of Commerce is a reputed college located on Charni Road, Mumbai. It is right next to the Charni Road Station. Hence, students do not have to travel much. The college offers various degrees and is affiliated with the Mumbai University. Exams are conducted semester wise. The college organises various events such as Panaah.
 

Academics Rating
This college provides various programs and courses such as BAF, B.Com, B.Sc, IT, M.Com, etc. The KPB Hinduja College of Commerce has both a junior college and a degree college. Students can get admission in the junior college through Merit. The cutoff is around 60-70%. In order to get admission in the degree college one can get it through either in-house quota or Merit.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty here is quite experienced and co-operative. The management system also works smoothly. The teachers hold Master’s degrees and many of them are authors as well as various award holders. Their teaching is diverse and helps the students in understanding various aspects. Their teaching style is very smooth and understandable. Internal exams are conducted and projects are given to students which help them to understand a topic in detail.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell of this college is very active and provides various internship programs. Various companies come here to recruit students such as Mahindra & Mahindra, Netflix, TCS, etc. This helps students to get an opportunity to work and gain experience. The salary offered for internships is around 15k to 20k. The placement offers after getting the degree is around 4 LPA. The placement cell keeps on updating students of various recruiters.
 

Hostel Rating
There is no residential facility in our college which is something the college should work upon, as students come from various places to opt for the degree college here.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is not very big, yet it offers every necessity such as a library, canteen, gymkhana, etc. It has two buildings attached together which has classrooms, AV rooms, etc. The library offers a variety of books including course books which students can borrow using their ID card. The gymkhana is a good place for refreshments.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life of the students is very active as they have various events to participate in like inter college events, which helps the students to engage in different activities. The college organises ‘Panaah’ which is its core event. The college also conducts ‘Student’s Week’ which offers students to participate in different activities such as Bollywood day, mismatched day, singing competition, etc. This college has an annual sports day as well.

    Hinduja College is a good educational institute. Here, the faculty is good and you will get support from them. Events that are conducted in the college are pretty good. The campus infrastructure is not good but it will be developed sooner or later since the authorities are taking some actions regarding the same.     As I wanted to pursue BMS in HR from a good college, I had opted for Hinduja, HR and KC College. But then I got to know that HR college is not providing HR major. So I was happy go get admission at Hinduja College. And I was an in-house student so I knew the college from before.     I wanted to go to best commerce college of Mumbai so I chose this college and luckily I got selected. The campus students love the faculties and off course education is the Main factor for which I choose this college. I found friendly environment like good teachers, nice other staff, very supportive seniors, etc. I even got support in fees though they have very reasonable fees structure.
