Life at Anand Institute of Higher Technology

Overall Rating
When comparing other colleges affiliated to the Anna University, Anand Institute of Higher Technology is one of the best institutes. This institute got second position in the Anna University Counseling. Also, the fee structure is low as compared to other colleges. So I suggest others to go for AIHT like me.
 

Academics Rating
If you're having good cutoff marks then you can go for counseling. The management staffs will help you join this institute through counseling. For admission you need your 10th and 12th mark sheet, provisional certificate, transfer certificate, Xerox of both your adhar and community certificate. If you go with this proof the management staff will help you apply for counseling.
 

Faculty Rating
Course that are taught by the faculty members are clearly understandable. Their way and style of teaching is good enough to understand the course easily. The faculty can take the students to the smart rooms so that they can understand the course more clearly through visual representations.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the institute has a placement cell. It really helps the students to acquire the jobs in the industry.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, AIHT has residential facilities. The hostel has a gym room, mess and an outdoor play area.
 

Infrastructure Rating
This institute has the best infrastructure, being surrounded by so many trees. The Anand Institute of Higher Technology has several numbers of blocks. Each block has one or two departments. This institute contains two canteens with a lot of food menus, one department store and Xerox shops. The campus has all the shops we need.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, the campus life includes so many fun fests, clubs and engagement activities including sports activities. There are so many clubs like the literary club, fine arts club, Rotaract club, science club, etc. They also conduct national level programs like the Smart India Hackathon. To encourage the participation of student they conduct Innovators Day and national level symposiums.

    Anand Institute of Higher Technology is really excellent in education system and this is one of the top ranking colleges in Chennai. It used to conducts sports day to make the students active.     After doing BCA, I decided to do MCA and AIHT was the first college that came to my mind. My cousins stay there and they were the ones who introduced me to AIHT. They have an entrance exam and that score will only lead you to MCA course. Out of 120 seats the college just has 10 management quota seats and rest all through the entrance score only.
