My journey at Anand Institute of Higher Technology

Overall Rating
Overall, Anand Institute of Higher Technology is a good place to choose if you want a non-pressurizing study environment with decent job offers, dedicated professors and memorable four years of college life. The cultural event named Instincts is organised in the college, where students from many colleges enjoy themselves and participate in many competitions.
 

Academics Rating
I choose this course because I always wanted to become a computer engineer and wanted one of the best computer engineering faculties around here. The college is very strict for girls, but they also maintain a good atmosphere for girls.
 

Faculty Rating
As per the qualification of teachers, they are the best faculty we can ever have. The teachers are specialized in their respective domains and have a keen and helpful nature. There are so many subjects in the courses which make a student ready for handling and overcoming the challenges in the industry.
 

Placement Rating
Top recruiting companies that visit the college are Wipro, Tata Consultancy Service, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, HP, Infosys, IBM, Caterpillar, etc. The student from any branch is sure to pass out with a good job offer from one of the IT giants as long as you clear all your subjects.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel life is very good here.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are a lot of games facilities ranging from football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, handball, tennis, gym, and more. The college infrastructure is splendid, and the labs of all departments are well maintained with the latest types of equipment.
 

Campus Rating
According to me the college is good and we can gain a lot knowledge and practical experience in lab. There are lots of clubs YRC, NSS, NCC, rotary Club, and more. In this college, many cultural fests are held, which reduces boredom from a student’s college life. Cultural events are organised here every year.

    When comparing other colleges affiliated to the Anna University, Anand Institute of Higher Technology is one of the best institutes.     Anand Institute of Higher Technology is really excellent in education system and this is one of the top ranking colleges in Chennai. It used to conducts sports day to make the students active.     After doing BCA, I decided to do MCA and AIHT was the first college that came to my mind. My cousins stay there and they were the ones who introduced me to AIHT. They have an entrance exam and that score will only lead you to MCA course. Out of 120 seats the college just has 10 management quota seats and rest all through the entrance score only.
