Sangameshwar College BCA Review By Pateriya Utkarsh

I am a student of Sangameshwar College. I am pursuing my degree in BCA. This is an autonomous college. It has a vast campus and parking space as compared to other colleges in this locality. There is no chance of ragging in this college. There are security guards present to keep an eye on the activities going on in the college. The teachers are experienced and pay attention to each and every student. All the departments have their respective uniforms and ID cards.

The academic results of Sangameshwar College are quite good. This college provides many bachelor and master degrees such as BCA, B.Sc, B.Com, BA, M.Com, MA, M.Sc, etc. Every year many students get on-campus placements and internships from many companies. The college teachers teach well which leads to the better understanding on concepts and good grades. Even if a student gets a backlog due to any reason the teachers help them to clear the exam.

Sangameshwar College has many faculties. Each department has a respective HOD and many teachers. The teachers are well qualified and have done their Ph.D in their respective fields. They take good care of their students and provide a better environment for them to study. They teach in mainly 3 languages English, Marathi and Hindi. The faculties provide the best notes in both offline and online form. They conduct time to time tests to check on their student's performance.

Our college has a list of reputed Multinational Companies that come for recruitment drives. The companies that visit this college are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, IDBI, Tech Mahindra, ICICI Prudential, etc. Each department of this college has many companies visiting for placements. These companies take interviews and depending upon the result they select candidates. Some companies even provide internships for students. Our college organises guest lecturers for letting students know more about these placements. The teachers take aptitude tests and conduct logic development programs to enhance the student's reasoning power in order to give a better interview.

Our college has an inbuilt hostel facility for the students. The boy’s hostel is located inside, at the centre of the college. While the girl’s hostel is located besides the college. Both the hostels are provided with securities. The boy’s hostel consists of two floors and has many rooms. There are 2 to 3 roommates in each room. The mess facility is not available inside the college but a canteen is provided.

Sangameshwar College provides an extremely good and clean infrastructure. The classes, buildings and campus are cleaned by the workers every day. There are many seminar halls, classes and labs present in each department. The whole campus is covered by CCTV cameras which keep us safe. The computer department itself has more than 140+ computers which can accommodate many students at once. The classes can accommodate up to 100 students. There are separate gardens for boys and girls. This college has a canteen, stationary shop, NCC Training Camp and a gymkhana.

The campus of this college is very vast. Every year there are many festivals taken by each department which include the Technical Fests, Sports Fests, Cultural Fests and Annual Fests. The college has many trees which makes it nature friendly. The old buildings have been renovated. There are new buildings which are under construction. All these things provide the ideal and enjoyable surroundings for students to learn in this college.
