DIEMS Aurangabad is Accredited by NAAC

The Institute is fairly decent when it comes to facilities like labs, practicals, and classrooms. It is also accredited by NAAC. Despite being a tier 3 Institute, it has strict rules and discipline regarding behavior, timelines, exams, etc. The fairness in exams, assignments, assessments, and practicals is unparalleled; every student gets correspondence opportunity to learn and grow. The faculty is fairly welcoming for newer ideas such as clubs and activities. My own idea of Anime club was approved smoothly and I was allowed to even carry out anime screenings and related events.

I chose the Computer Science and Engineering stream as my majors. The admission in this Institute is done mainly via the MHT-CET exam, which carried out, by Government of Maharashtra. The cut-off percentile varies year to year, but for General category, you may expect a cut-off of around 80 to 90 percentile. The admission can either be done by filling online form after the CET results, or you can reach out to the Institute directly. The Institute also allows you to fill forms, apply for other Institutes and courses, and help you in every way. The internal exam pattern is basically divided into 3 exams i.e., Continuous Assessment -1, Mid semester exam, and Continuous Assessment - 2. The syllabus is same as every Institute, and you will have to gain skills separately.

CSE Students have to pay the fee of Rs. 1,00,000/- per year for the General category. The fee is broken down into 4 installments of Rs. 25,000/- each. A nominal amount of registration fees must be paid during the admission process. The fees varies based on the category, and you should consult with the administration to avail the scholarship provided by the Government.

The faculty of is well qualified for the job. Every professor who teaches a subject has a Graduation degree in the same subject as their majors. Many professors have completed their Post-Graduation as well. Some professors have even successfully secured a Ph.D in their respective fields. The teaching methodology includes PPTs and blackboards. The professors create and display presentations for better understanding.

The placement of the Deogiri Institute of Engineering and Management Studies Aurangabad depends on the students itself. The Institute provides quite a lot of opportunities regarding Internships and then PPOs. The Institute has a dedicated Placement Cell. It helps the students by introducing them to newer opportunities, new updates, and companies that reach out to the Institute.

The campus is fairly big with 4 floors and an underground area. Every floor has many classrooms, and 10 to 11 labs and practical rooms. Every classroom has a comfortable seating capacity of 75 to 80 students. Also, every classroom has projector and a computer for PPTs and presentations. The Institute has central library that provides academic and reference books to the students. There is also a book bank facility, which lets the students issue books for longer periods with a nominal, one-time fee of Rs. 100. There are different auditoriums in the Institute, with one of them having the proper theatre like seating arrangements, lights, sound, and screen. There is one conference room, and a placement room. My most favorite part about the infrastructure is the open area we had right before our CSE department with plants.

My campus life at the DIEMS Aurangabad was a good experience. I enjoyed my time in the Institute. The Institute crowd was a mix of all kinds of students. There are various clubs in the Institute such as photography, coding, astronomy, movies, riding, trekking, drawing, literature, etc. There are a lot of extracurricular activities and events that the Institute organises every year. There is also a yearly fest that the Institute organises in February. The campus life is enjoyable.
