Project-based learning in academics

Overall Rating
My experience with my institute was mostly good. In the 1st year of my Bachelor of Engineering, I found that my institute focuses more on academics and project-based learning. I heard from my friends that the institute offers good placements, and it is near my house which made me choose Deogiri Institute of Engineering and Management Studies.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing Electronics & Telecommunication from here; this is a 4-year integrated course. The entry requirement is to appear for either JEE or CET to get admission. Any diploma holder can join this course directly in second year. Students are required to submit specific documents at the time of enrollment.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are supportive and academic oriented. They complete the course in a given time period and provide notes of our subjects to prepare for examination. They have an experience of 10+ years and most of them are engineering degree holders while some are from other fields. Everyone has their own style of teaching; some focus more on theory while some on project-based learning.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, Deogiri Institute of Engineering and Management Studies has a Placement Cell which helps students to get decent job opportunities.
 

Hostel Rating
Our institute has residential facilities for both girls and boys. There are 2 hostels for girls and 2 for boys. Mess facilities are also present.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The institute has 4 buildings and one huge ground. There is a student section department which looks after student affairs and the admissions process. There are different labs for practising and a parking area for students and teachers.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is a bit small but still there are various club activities and events which are hosted by the university. There is an annual gathering function in which students get the chance to showcase their talent and skills. On a regular basis there are events like Elocution, debate, dance, music events that are organised by different clubs.
