My Review for Chanakya National Law University

Overall Rating
CNLU is situated in heart of the Patna that is Capital City of Bihar. It offers Bachelor Courses in law, Master's courses and Ph.D as well. As being a resident of Bihar I chose CNLU during my CLAT Counseling and took admission as it is hardly 1 Km from Patna junction and is known as Judges Factory. Everyone who is preparing for CLAT should think of CNLU as it offers great academia, Corporate placement, etc. it has great infrastructure and all this comes with a reasonable fee.
 

Academics Rating
Courses offered are B.A.LL.B (Hons.), BBA.LL.B (Hons.), LL.M, and Ph.D in Law. For the UG Courses a person have to secure minimum of 45% in their intermediate examination and have to pass the Common law Entrance Test (CLAT) and for LL.M, the LL.M entrance test is conducted by the college itself. Being a part of these programs one can explore the law with a great academia along with co- curricular activities like - Debate, moot court competition, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
CNLU has a team of around more than thirty professors who teaches different subjects of Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business Administration and subject of law. Most of the faculty has Ph.D in their respective subjects of Law, Arts and Management. CNLU has collaborative teaching methods which mean one subject is taught by more than one professor in collaboration. Our respective vice-chancellor also takes special lectures for the different law subjects. CNLU also have number of visiting faculties and adjunct professors.
 

Placement Rating
CNLU has a placement cell which looks after the placement in college by end of every session and also looks after the pre- placement offers from reputed firms. In batch of 2024, 22 students were placed in banks, law firms, insurance companies, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
CNLU have residential facilities for boys as well as girls. It includes separate mess, canteen and gym for both girls and boys.
 

Infrastructure Rating
CNLU have a great campus spreading across 20 acres and have fully air conditioned smart classrooms, parking place, football ground, volleyball ground, basketball court and badminton court in respective hostels. CNLU has free access to Wi-Fi, provide sports equipment and have a range of amenities provided by the University. It has a great library named ' Nishant Nilayam' having collection of more than 22000 books and it has a well maintained infrastructure.
 

Campus Rating
CNLU has a great campus life as most of the students are living in hostel and have a great crowd. There are number of events including CNLU parliamentary debate, legal aid fests, National moot court competitions, Chanakya soccer league, Chanakya premier league, Chanakya volleyball league, Annual sports fest ' URZZAA', and different cultural activities. Overall it has a great campus life.

    As CNLU was been established in 2006 so we have very strong alumni base, and university conducted alumni meet in both online and offline format. It provides very good and crucial knowledge about Law and Business Administration. It has many committees and some of which provide free education to be enrolled in NLU's.     I was passionate about studying law from a very young age, and its fondness inspired me to take the CLAT exam. By securing AIR 2600, I got Chanakya National Law University. It is a Central University and is among the reputed members of National Law Universities.     CNLU is the good college to complete the law course. It is obtained by passing the CLAT examination. The college is spread in 18 acre. The social life is good here and people are open minded. Library is fully air conditioned and hostels rooms are spacious. The food quality in the mess is good. Seniors are friendly and helpful in nature. Teachers are well qualified.     My overall experience in this college has been good. For those who belong to Bihar or Jharkhand this place is best. I chose the college because it's near to my hometown and is best law college in Bihar. It provides a holistic development to an individual.
