My Experience at Jain Institute of Technology

Overall Rating
Overall, this institute is pretty average. The lecturers here are well skilled and their way of teaching is good. Labs sessions are taken very often so students will develop knowledge. A fest called ‘Shrunga’ is conducted once a year.
 

Academics Rating
To join our course you have to complete your PUC or diploma in Computer Science. In this course you will be learning the various programming languages like C, C++, Java, Python and other technologies such as web development, AI and ML as well as mobile application development. Here you will have to do mini projects and one major project on these technologies.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are highly skilled and qualified. They will help you throughout the course. Some of the facilities are PhD holders. They conduct student counseling sessions every week so they can get to know about a particular student. You will be allotted with one faculty member as a guide to complete your major project.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell in our institute. But as per my knowledge the placement cell won't help you get any jobs.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, residential facilities are there in our institute. My hostel experience was good. Decent food is provided in the hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our institute has a good campus. Our class building has labs and a library. A good quality canteen is there which provides food at a decent price. But there are no good facilities for parking vehicles within the campus. You would need to park outside the campus.
 

Campus Rating
This institute has a decent campus life and crowd. But there are no clubs. A fest called ‘Chrunda’ is conducted once a year which goes on for 2 days. Some celebrities are invited to this fest. A technical exhibition is also conducted every semester. Other than this, there are skits, debates and dance competitions that are organised.
