My experience at Sinhgad Academy of Engineering

Overall Rating
Sinhgad Academy of Engineering is a well-known college with stellar reputation. It is a branch of Sinhgad Technical Education Society. The college focuses not only on the academic but also on the overall development of students. It is accredited with A grade by NAAC.
 

Academics Rating
The college provides Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in various streams like Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. It also offers Master's Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (VLSI and Embedded Systems). The college is under Savitribai Phule Pune University.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of college comprises of well qualified teachers as well as highly experienced teacher. Some of them even have the experience of working in the industry. The teachers are very supportive and also encourage the students to take part in different extracurricular activities and inter college events. The college has spacious classrooms that are equipped with modern facilities.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell which takes care of placement related activities. Also on each departmental level there are different training and placement officers. A Student Training program is introduced after second year onwards which help students know about different placement related activities. Students do internships in their 3rd year which gives them hands on training and experience.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostels are well equipped and have Wi-Fi facilities. There are separate hostels for girls as well as boys. The hostel has rooms which are consisting of three / four beds in each room. Students do have Tennis court as well as carrom in the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Sinhgad Academy of Engineering has a huge campus. The building of Engineering department is well developed and has a well stocked library. The library contains different reference books as well as the technical books which helps student in their studies. There is a seminar hall in the campus that is used for organising different workshops and seminars. Also there is a bank facility within the campus.
 

Campus Rating
The college has a vibrant and diverse college life. The atmosphere is very friendly and the most important thing is that this is an anti- ragging campus. Strict actions are taken against the students who are indulged in such activities. The college also has different clubs such as Art Circle, Astros Club, etc. These clubs help students to focus on their hobbies along with academics.
