Overall Rating
I have joined Mechanical Engineering in MVGR College of Engineering. I have opted for this particular course because nowadays everyone is running behind Computer Science Engineering; due to this its demand may decrease after a few years. Here, we can create many new innovative ideas by seeking knowledge in the Mechanical stream.
 

Academics Rating
To join our college you have to give the EMCEE or ECET exam and score at least 60000 or below to get a free seat. If you have a diploma and have secured a rank below 500, you can also get a free seat in our college.
 

Faculty Rating
In this college, almost all teachers are Ph.D holders. They know how to teach students in an easy manner. They use projectors to explain the topic by showing animated videos, etc. Every faculty in our college is very friendly. They don't get frustrated for repeating a topic until we understand.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are very good in this college as last year 11 students from the CSE branch got a package of 25 LPA. The highest package in Mechanical Engineering is 11 LPA and the average package is 6 LPA for the core branches.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, hostel facilities are available MVGR College of Engineering for both girls and boys. The infrastructure is good. Double sharing rooms are provided with 2 cots, 1 almira and one study table. The hostel food is good, dal is served every day.
 

Infrastructure Rating
In our college, departments are separated according to the course like mechanical students have a special Mechanical department. It has a separate laboratory with good machinery. RO water plant is in every department as 24/7 water facility is provided. The computer labs are very well maintained and have AC facilities. Washrooms are cleaned every day.
 

Campus Rating
MVGR College of Engineering has a very good college life. In our college, every department has their own club that we can join according to our interests.

    MVGR Vizianagaram has the best faculty and facilities for Mechanical Engineering. It has the best placements rate for my branch from more than 2 decades now. As compared to other institutions, we have the best labs and high quality education and equipment. Campus, Faculty, Placements, etc. are the factors that made me choose the particular institute....     MVGRCE Vizianagaram is a good College. Clubs in the College allow us to pursue our hobbies. It encourages new talents in all fields (from academics to co-curricular activities). Overall, it is a best College to study. Once we entered the College we will face many ups and downs, but we will get relief with good placements.     My experience at MVGRCE Vizianagaram is going good. Be it learning new things, participating in events, contests, playing games and making friends, everything is fun.     Overall, the college is good for infrastructure and academics, placements are also good, but not all students get placements in the college. The highest package is 25 LPA and the average 4.5 LPA for the last year. The faculties have good experience. The college encourages many extra-curricular activities and conducts sports events, competitions, and also has a GDG club which conducts programs periodically.
