Diverse Academic Courses at VIT Pune

Overall Rating
Vishwakarma University, Pune is newly established. It’s been there for only 5 years but the faculty here is quite good and very knowledgeable. It has an updated and relevant syllabus. University has partnered with IBM for internships and different certification programs like Cyber Security, Business Analytics, etc. I would recommend my university over MIT.
 

Academics Rating
University is following the new education policy which is great and all the subjects are fun and interesting to learn. One can choose additional courses from other departments as well. Every assignment is structured with the perspective of real world application. University follows semester system. Jury exams are taken every semester.
B.Tech course Fee is Rs. 3,75,000 per year.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty to student ratio is satisfactory with good teaching method. With their expertise in design industry they are helpful in giving tips about the same. Teachers themselves study wisely before giving any task and also properly analyze its outcome in academics. You can meet them anytime except for meetings to clear any doubts. More teachers are required for UI UX Design course.
 

Placement Rating
Vishwakarma University, Pune provides good placements. Many top companies come to recruit students like Whirlpool, Accenture, etc. Average package is 7LPA to 8LPA but it depends on the student's performance as well. My plan after getting a degree is to get some job experience and then open my own firm. The placement cell is very active and is improving continuously.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the university has decent hostel facility. Hostel fee is Rs.60,000 per year. Rules need to be strictly followed and permission is required for outings.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There is a studying hall with grass carpet, air-conditioner, tables, and chairs. Guards and CCTV cameras are present everywhere. Outsiders cannot enter the campus unchecked. Outsiders need permission to move around in campus. Huge library is there with various design books which can be issued accordingly. Projectors and Wi-Fi are provided and set up in all the classrooms; Mac lab with around 2000 software is also available. Campus look should be improved though.
 

Campus Rating
Vishwakarma University, Pune has a moderately busy calendar with 1-3 monthly events. ‘Aarambh’ fest is organized every year, where you can perform activities like dance, drama, singing etc. University has a strict ragging policy and students get rusticated if found guilty, which makes it a friendly university.

    At Vishwakarma University, the education is good. All the faculties are smart and make learning easier for students. There are 2-3 libraries with lots of books.
