VIIT is one of the top institutes in Pune. Placements of this institute are very good. The institute is in Kondhwa Pune. Faculty of this institute is very good. This institute’s culture is also very famous. Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology is an autonomous institute so the syllabus is very advanced.

I have completed diploma and then on the basis of diploma percentage I have taken admission in this institute. There are no specific eligibility criteria. Only you must have given an entrance test like JEE or CET for admission in 1st year or else a diploma should be completed. On the basis of marks you can take admission through CAP round.

Faculty members are very well trained, highly qualified and professional. They support the students in all the extracurricular activities. The syllabus is way ahead of other colleges under this university. It focuses on practical knowledge over theory. Project based learning is another good approach of the institute.

Placement cell of Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology is really hardworking. They keep bringing companies for placement. Placement cell really helps students to get job in well known industries. Some of the companies visited our institute are Nvidia, Seagate, IBM, and lot more.

The hostel of the institute is quiet expensive, so I live in a flat which is 1 km from our institute. Institute’s hostel fee is around 1 lakh. Private hostel fee is around 40000 to 50000 per annum. Whereas, PG fee is around 3000 to 5000 per month.

Infrastructure of the institute is in 5-6 acres. It is enough. There is a play ground also. Library of Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology is very good. There are 5 buildings in institute campus named as A, B, C, D, and E. Each building contains two branches.

Campus life in Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology is quiet good. There is a techno cultural event called GANDHARVA that is conducted every year in the month of February or March. There are clubs of each branch like for Civil there are CECA, for ENTC there is EESA, and MESA is for mechanical students.
