A decent and academically focused institute

Overall Rating
The college is ranked No.1 from past 6 years by RTU on paper. But the on ground situation is not that good. The cultural activities and fests are far beyond the level of fests conducted by other competitive colleges like JECRC and Poornima. They are more focused on the academic part. The size of campus is 13 acres although they've decorated it very well.
 

Academics Rating
As the college is affiliated by Rajasthan Technical University they have to follow the curriculum designed by the university. The courses are not modern technology centered. It includes subjects like ML and AI but it lacks the practical implementation of these topics. The institute is focused more towards marks rather than knowledge.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the teachers are good and ready to help even after the college hours. All the teachers are well educated and some of them are pass outs from NITs and IITs also. All of them have well prepared material for their respective courses. Although the teaching methodology is marks centric.
 

Placement Rating
Placements till last were decent but this year due to recession the placements stats were very low.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Size of campus is around 13 acres. It is beautifully decorated by green plants and trees. The infrastructure is decent. There are 4 blocks in total. There's also one library in the college premises. For sports there is a football ground, 2 basketball courts and a tennis court inside the college campus.
 

Campus Rating
If you want to enjoy your campus life apart from studies then surely this college is not for you. There are a lot of restrictions and you have to be in the uniform. The annual fest's name is Pravah and it is organised on an average level. They also have strict attendance criteria.

    I am in my first year of graduation at SKIT Jaipur. My overall experience here is very good till now. Factors that made me choose it were good infrastructure, good teachers, discipline, and many more.     I had a lot of options near me but I chose SKIT Jaipur because of its discipline and great infrastructure. My experience in this institute is pretty good. There is no place for ragging here. It is totally ragging free; in fact the seniors are very helping. The institute is like a family where everyone helps each other.
