My experiences at MLV Textile & Engineering College

Overall Rating
I chose this institute for my B.Tech. I got admission in this college in B.Tech Mechanical after completion of my diploma in Mechanical Engineering. I got admission direct in second year through lateral entry program. This is semi autonomous college under Rajasthan Government. This was founded specially for textile studies.
 

Academics Rating
I enroll in B.Tech Mechanical course and minimum eligibility requirement for this program was 12th with PCM or 3 year diploma in any stream. My admission was based on merit. My course total fee was 58000 per year. B.Tech course duration is 4 years. Other state admission was through JEE Exam.
 

Faculty Rating
My faculty was best in college. They were experienced professor in their field. Every lecture was of 1 hour duration. 3 lectures were held each day. Only Sunday was off for us and practical were held on Saturday. The teaching style was really friendly. They teach us in practical way rather than theoretical ways.
 

Placement Rating
This college provide 100 percent campus placement for textile students and for other branches there was no placement held. I was in mechanical branch so for me there was no placement, we have to find job by ourselves.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there was hostel facility but I lived in rented room, because hostel life and food quality was not good so I chose not to live there.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College has great infrastructure and buildings. It has good furniture and free Wi-Fi facility for students, clean water, average class rooms and toilets, etc. College has a play ground for various games and each year sports week was held for cricket. In 2015 my batch won the cricket trophy and volley ball was won by girl’s team in 2015 batch.
 

Campus Rating
College campus life was one of the best memories of my life and I enjoyed there a lot. Night life was quit safe for girls also, they can roam around. I would say campus life was great.
