My Life at SVPU of Agriculture and Technology

Overall Rating
The campus is good with greenery, plants and trees. It has separate laboratories such as Microbiology Lab, Pathology Lab, Physiology Lab, Surgery Lab, Gynecology Lab, etc. The university is large in area with poultry farm, pig farm, cattle, buffalo farm, etc.
 

Academics Rating
The course duration is of 5.5 years in which last year of the course is dedicated to internship. The eligibility of this course is to have passed 12th standard in PCB stream with at least or above 60% marks. Through this course, you will become a Veterinary Doctor. The exams are conducted 4 times a year.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are well qualified and experienced from top most institutes of India. They cover entire syllabus in a particular period of time and take classes regularly. The faculties also live in the university. Their style of teaching is good and understandable. They also provide practical knowledge during the practical period.
 

Placement Rating
There is no placement policy for the students because you have to work in government sectors, private hospitals and slaughter houses in which there is no need of placement services.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostels are well developed and have a separate balcony with nature view. The hostels rooms are available in double sharing. They also have 24 hours electricity and water supply.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the university is modern and well developed. All the building and departments are marked with their names which is helpful for new students. The classrooms are well furnished with proper seating arrangements and fans. There is a central library that has wide range of books for the students.
 

Campus Rating
The sports day is organised annually in November –December in the university. Fests are conducted on the regular basis. It also conducts lot of workshops time to time to enhance the knowledge. Each year, it organizes the special fair called Kisan Mela. Other events like Fresher’s party and Farewell party are conducted by the students. It takes students of 1st year and 4th year for tour.

    It's an overall outstanding University in terms of education, infrastructure, enjoyment and hostel Life. Everything is quite nice at Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology. The thing which is different in our University from others is the lush green campus.     My overall experience in SVPUAT Meerut is good till now because the faculty and professors teach very well. They are the reason that students can easily achieve 7 GPA or above which is good in academics. It also provides residential facilities along with basic amenities like 24×7 electricity and water supply in the whole campus.
