My overall experience in SVPUAT Meerut is good till now because the faculty and professors teach very well. They are the reason that students can easily achieve 7 GPA or above which is good in academics. It also provides residential facilities along with basic amenities like 24×7 electricity and water supply in the whole campus. You learn about animals and their diseases, diagnosis and the treatment.

The total duration of this course is 5.5 years. The fee structure is ₹ 71700 yearly which has not increased much as compared to previous fee which was ₹71650. Apart from this, the hostel fee is ₹8000. If you take admission on paid seat, then you have to pay extra 10 lakh rupees in which for 1st year you will pay ₹400000 then in 2nd year, you will pay ₹200000 and then in third year, you will pay ₹200000 then in 4th year, you will pay 100000 and then in final year you will pay ₹100000. I applied for NDUAT, Ayodhya and SVPUAT Meerut but some of my friends suggested me SVPUAT Meerut because the teaching and campus facilities are best. So I left NDUAT for SVPUAT Meerut. The admission process is not simple or direct. You have to crack the UPCATET exam with a good rank.

The faculty is so experienced and well educated from top most institutes. Some of the teachers are even ranked AIR -1 in ICAR-JRF. The teachers have both theory and field knowledge about the disease, diagnosis and treatment. The exams are held in December, March, June and annual exam held in July and August.

Our college do not have placement but internship facilities are provided by the college. The internship process is typically complex in which you have to work on different places like Pig farm, Cattle Buffalo farm, Zoo, NGO, field, villages and camps. The Internship allowance for students is only ₹3000 per month. At last of internship you have to pass the interview, regarding internship. The average salary of a veterinarian is 6 LPA and the highest package is 12 LPA. Apart from that there is a huge scope in government sectors such as Veterinary Officer, Food inspector, etc.

The rooms are well developed with proper ventilation and a bed is provided to each student. The mess quality is average and the menu is simple. No Chinese or South Indian dishes are prepared by the mess owner. You can also rent a room or PG outside the campus.

The infrastructure of the university is full of greenery with plants and trees. There are lots of buildings in the university. It also has Buffalo Farm, Cattle & Buffalo Farm, Pig Farm, Poultry Farm, HRC, Sheep Farm, etc. The building doesn't have lifts. There is a Veterinary Clinical Complex in which the diagnosis and treatment of large and small animals is done by professional doctors. There are two auditoriums in the campus named Gandhi hall and TVCC. The library is the best part of infrastructure of the campus which is covered with tiles and is fully AC. In the night time the library looks so beautiful.

The annual and technical festival is held on 2nd October every year in which the dinner is not included. Sometimes workshops like interview preparation and more are also held. The freshers party and Farewell Party are also conducted by the students in which the food, dance, etc. are included.
