Unparallel teaching and learning

Overall Rating
AP Goyal University was one institution that was on my list because it is in Shimla city. It is among the top universities and it had the curriculum I was interested in. the university is established and approved by UGC. AP has everything to offer when it comes to best UG programmes and this is why it was my top priority to get admission in the university. In fact all my friends applied in the same college because admission process was easy. We have both online and offline facilities to get through APGSU.
 

Academics Rating
I had a huge interest in pharmacy and this is why I took admission in B.Pharm. I had to go through aptitude test before I was selected by the institution. It was a good experience as I had a clear view what I can expect in the future from the course I had to join. B Pharm was my first choice because it was a popular course at that time. Even my parents belong to the medical sector and they also encouraged me to join this course. Subjects were interesting and as expected; required plenty of hard work. There is abundance of job available for B Pharm undergraduates.
 

Faculty Rating
There were more than 5 faculty members for B Pharm students and each one of our teachers supported us throughout the curriculum. I felt ease every time I was in the classroom because teachers made everything simple. I also approached them even after the classroom for my issues and they were always available to help me out. Some of our teachers were fresher’s and others had plenty of experience in teaching. Overall I had pretty good experience with my teachers in AP Goyal University.
 

Placement Rating
There were campus placements available even for the undergraduates. Some of the best MNC companies offered handsome packages 3 lakh to 4 lakh. Around 80 percent of the undergraduates from my class got placements after interacting with the companies. I also desired this experience and went through interview after my third year. I had to go for higher studies, but overall the experience of going through an interview was good.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facility is available, but I am native of Shimla so this facility was not required. Some of my close friends were hostlers so few times I visited their hostel. Rooms were spacious and girls/ boys hostel are separate. I have no idea about the hostel fee, but my friends said it is nothing different from other colleges. Food quality was average as many times I had lunch with my friends in the hostel. Security is over the top in girl’s hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is pretty impressive and institution is located in totally peaceful area in the Shimla hills. All the significant facilities like ATM, bus stand, hospital etc. are approachable. Classrooms are spacious and we had everything from well equipped laboratories to libraries. There are auditoriums, cafeteria and even the medical support is instantly available for the students. Infrastructure really impressed me and had every facility a student would like to have in their institution.
 

Campus Rating
I had a great experience while my learning in the AP Goyal university. The university offered many adventure and sports facilities like trekking, basketball, boxing etc. We also had indoor games like board games, TT, billiards etc. We also had yoga hall and nature was always handy which assisted our overburdened mind. We celebrated every festival and gathered lifetime memories as student and had great campus life which I still remember and recall.

    APG Shimla University is great and has definitely the best atmosphere to study. One can’t argue with the placements because barring St. Bede's, no other colleges in Shimla have good placements. Call it unfortunate but students here mostly go for higher studies abroad or to the other parts of India.     I always wanted to study in the Mother Nature’s lap. This is why I chose AP Goyal Shimla University for my higher education. It is situated on the borders of Shimla city, on a hill top. It is a great place for learning as it is far away from the hustle and bustle, pollution, and noise of the city and surrounded by greenery everywhere.
