An unforgettable journey in ITM SLS Baroda University

Overall Rating
The university is very good. I chose this university because my course was available in very less universities. My 2 cousins who have passed out of same university gave me the review on the basis of which I chose this university. This university has various options for every student as it has different courses. They recently added BPT. It also has Filming course and many more. University infrastructure is very good and campus is very huge. It has cricket ground, basket ball court and badminton court in campus.
 

Academics Rating
There are no as such criteria for taking admission in this university. You just have to carry your documents and your registration will be done in within 30 minutes. You have to pay 1st semester fee at that time. For Diploma, yearly fee is 42,500, which we have to pay semester wise.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is well educated and qualified. Some of them were Ph.D holders. Faculties are helpful whenever we go and ask them our doubts. There are 2 internal exams and an external exam in the university. Internal exams are of 30 marks and external of 100 marks. Question bank is provided for use to prepare properly before the examination.
 

Placement Rating
Yes we have placement cell in university. The criteria for the placement was student should have 6.5 CGPA or above. Top recruiters were LCS, INOXCVA, Synchronic, Henning and many more. The highest package was 2.8 LPA and average was 1.5 LPA. Yes, it really helps student to acquire job in the industry.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes university was facilitated with hostel but I didn’t choose hostel. My friends were there in hostel and their reviews were not that good. The food of hostel mess was average. Within 2-3 Km of university there were some good PG’S nearby to reside.
 

Infrastructure Rating
As I said earlier, university infrastructure is very good and huge. They have big library and playgrounds for different sports. They also have many sculptures in the campus which were made by international sculptor. In total there are around 4 blocks, each block contains 50-60 classrooms.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life was awesome. The university conducts some type of fest in every 3 -5 months. The main fest of university was ‘Illuminati’ which lasts for 7-8 days. It has series of events like robot races, hackathon, games competitions and much more. The fest ends with big DJ night.
