My overall experience at this university has been nice. The vibrant nature and beautiful campus attracted me to apply to this university, along with the fact that the university is near to my home. Amrita university is known for its beautiful campus and the eco friendly environment makes it adorable as well. The university has lively environment with activities and functions taking place at regular intervals making it a wonderful experience for students. The engineering department gets top notch faculties and facilities which is not the case for Arts department as the quality is quite average.

The course I have selected is Bachelor of Business Administration which is under Arts and Commerce Department. The entry requirement is to have percentage 65% in 12th grade along with passing of the entrance examinations. The entrance examination consists of logical reasoning, aptitude and verbal. Students procuring the top 20 rank gets fees reduction. Those who want to pursue management course can choose this course as it provides great recognition as well has considerable fee comparing to other universities providing the same course at higher fees.

The faculty changes according to different departments, the engineering departments get a class faculty where as other departments might not have that kind of teachers. The faculties of my department are average, where some of the teachers are highly skilled and qualified.

There is a separate placement cell which is concerned with the placement department called CIR department. It helps with the training and development of students to get placed in good companies with appropriate package. They give proper training and helps in development of skills and application which helps the students.

The hostel situation is below average. The rooms are decent and bathroom is common. Each room accommodates four members and each of them are facilitated with the amenities like bed, study table and storage spaces. The hostel provides students with Wi-Fi as well. There are recreational areas for the hostel where the students spend their free time. The hostel gate closes at 8.45pm.

The infrastructure of the campus is very good and appreciable. The campus is beautiful and clean all the time. The campus focuses on fostering an eco-friendly campus proving importance to the nature. There are plenty of amenities available such as library, common room, badminton court inside the campus with ample facilities. It’s admirable and beautiful to look upon the building structure and designs.

Campus life at university is beautiful providing good campus experience to all students. The university encourages the students to participate in various functions and events proving good experience to students and faculties alike. There are lot of clubs and fests happening every now and then. Amrita is known for its National multi fest event ‘Vidyut’, which is conducted every year. So overall the campus life is nice, if you are person who likes to conduct, participate and enjoy the events, you can join this university without any hesitation.
